DEAR VALORDEFENDER, WHEN I WAS A KID GROWING UP, I LOVED TO SIT IN THE DEN WITH MY FATHER OF BLESSED MEMORY AND HIS FRIENDS AND I LOVED LISTENING TO THEIR STORIES. THEIR STORIES WERE FUNNY, SAD, EMOTIONAL AND ALWAYS WITHIN EACH STORY ONE DERIVED WISDOM. FOR SURE WHEN ONE IS YOUNG WISDOM ISN'T UNDERSTOOD, BUT AT THE YEARS PROGRESS, ONE IS DRAWN BACK IN ONE'S MEMORY TO STORIES THAT WERE TOLD DECADES BEFORE AND THIS HELPS TO CONNECT DOTS OF WISDOM WITHIN ONE'S MIND. HISTORY IS SO IMPORTANT. I FIND THAT THOSE WHO KNOW THEIR HISTORY ARE THE ONES OF WISDOM. YOUR RESPONSE IS ONE OF PROFOUND WISDOM, HAPPY NEW YEAR

As far as the Cubans and the lottery go,even though it was referred to by those running it as the Italian lottery, newspapers called it the Cuban lottery.. I don't know if that term Cuban lottery has anything to do with what you said about the Cuban in your story.Wouldn't be surprised if you knew some names from this area if you or your father had machines here, although you would likely have been only early 20s when the guys here were finally cracked down on around 1959 and early 1960s.

The absolute best perspective of the mob told through the most honest and most observant as well as involved gangster. I have been amazed with everything mob related my entire life and this opened so many things for my understanding. Myron is just something special and he makes me proud even more proud that I am Jewish! Amazing content

MARK, BE PROUD BECAUSE BEING BORN A JEW IS A GIFT FROM HEAVEN. I JUST WROTE TO DAN KIRCHNER, THAT I MADE IT MY BUSINESS TO ENSURE EVERYBODY GOT A FAIR DEAL. I DIDNT DO IT BECAUSE I WAS AFRAID FOR MY LIFE. I DID IT BECAUSE I FELT THAT WITHIN THE WORLD OF GAMBLING MACHINES, THAT I COULD SHOW GUYS FROM ALL BACKGROUNDS THAT THERE IS A JEW WHO BELIEVES IN THE TEACHINGS OF OUR G-D GIVEN LAWS. I WAS NOT A TOUGH GUY IN THE SENSE OF THE WORD TO GO BEAT UP PEOPLE, I WAS A TOUGH GUY BECAUSE I DIDNT DEVIATE FROM PRINCIPLES. I USED TO TEACH GUYS " IF YOU ARE THINKING OF USING MUSCLE AT THE END IT'S BECAUSE YOU DIDNT USE YOUR BRAIN IN THE BEGINNING. BEST WISHES AND GOD BLESS YOU

Fascinating interview. I used to hear stories of the Purple Gang running things in Detroit back in the day. Also, Murder, Inc. Had a distant relative who used to be a big time defense attorney for connected individuals. We used to refer to him as the Don. He had crazy stories and a nice house full of BEAUTIFUL furniture, billiard tables and plenty of other things that likely fell off the back of a truck somewhere
