LMAO for real, the guy needed to land one more shot on me and I would of be gone! I committed to DPS rushing him down at the end and just focused purely on keeping locked on him the whole time once I saw his generator was about to kick back in. Thanks a lot for watching!

Yo for real! Literally one more shot and it would of been over for me LOL. I just focused on keeping my lockbox on him and eating hits at the end because I was hoping I could beat him in a damage race. I’m not gonna lie, I had a harder time with Ares, but I think thanks to what I learned from that fight, it made beating Matthias easier for me. Thanks a lot for checking the video out!🎉🎉

Because of the nightmares this guy inflicted on me 20 years ago, the sound of the Karasawa still triggers me.

Got lucky at the end as it looks like they were trying to put you down then, I don't know why they weren't shooting their grenade launcher for a whole minute it seems. But I remember that machine gun, I use to make the same build! Good work!

Thank you so much and thanks for watching! :) when I learned how to add a video on top of another video in my software, I knew I had to add that extra perspective to my arena videos, way easier to see what’s going on during the fight. I know AC is about switching parts to adapt, but I prefer to challenge my piloting skills by having a general build that fits my play style and learning to pilot it at best I can. With Matthias, I knew I was going to need some extra space to reposition myself with the level of fire power he was packing so I went for the Abandoned Highway. You might like my Ares fight video too, he was more challenging for me and the fight has more action since the man never ran out of energy unlike Matthias here 😂😂

@@CursiveS Don't worry, thanks for the show I also share the idea of an "ultimate AC for yourself", so feel you there lol. That's the way I did everything on AC2, LR, NB, Nexus, etc, against all odds. My personal plan was being capable of making an AC playable enough to do most of the missions and also fight hard treats at the same time. Keep playing the way you like, AC is for fun my g. Hahahah you my philosophy perfectly!! Rare for me to see other pilots with the same feelings, it’s just way more fun and rewarding for me. Build swapping I’d just end up running the most cheese stuff, but I want every battle to feel legendary to me. Thank you so much again for real :)! Thank you so much, I really appreciate that! Worked hard to relearn these controls, I’ve replayed the whole series from start up to where I’m at now: Armored Core 3. Yeah definitely claw method, no other way I can play 😂 can be rough on my hands after a while but we make it work! Good job getting the guy down regardless! That gun carried me through all of 2nd Gen LOL, it lets me focus more on piloting rather than worrying about my lockbox

I originally beat him when the game launched. I am getting old. I beat him by using the same rifle and the moon energy sword I think. I got him stuck on a wall and sliced his ass up with the sword after dying to him like 50 times.

Each bullet of the MGSAW is guided and operated by my Liaison to ensure optimal economics and destructive power.

I had an easier time fighting this guy with machine gun arms since they're basically full auto rifles. Just gotta equip extra ammo back parts and make every bullet count.

He wasn’t too bad since he kept burning out all his energy thankfully. Just had to pilot carefully and ended up getting the W after maybe 20 minutes.

So I recorded the replay of my perspective, then when it replays again, you can hit Triangle I think it is to either get the enemy AC’s POV or an overall view of the whole fight between you and your opponent. I record the overall view after recording my POV, and then I take the overall view into my editing software, shrink it down, and put it on top of my POV so you guys can get a better perspective of the action as a whole :) makes me sad the camera in 3rd Gen arena replays doesn’t work like how it does in 2nd Gen.
