Also, Nubia was not Egypt’s ancient enemy it was those in Western Asia and the Levant. This is shown in the edfu text as well as their opinion of the Shepard kings. It’s also shown in the story of Narmer the first pharaoh, they considered Hyksos and Canaanites barbarians.

Historically, the Mesedi and the Golden Spearmen were the Hittite King's personal bodyguards. There were always 12 of each in his retinue, though the total numbers may have been higher. In addition to certain ritual purposes, the Mesedi's primary function was to protect the King from assassins. Meanwhile, the Golden Spearmen were there in case he needed protection from the Mesedi.

Hey @Lionheartx10 when you were looking at the ‘Shrine of Arinna’ it actually tells you at the very bottom what it does for the general. Which is: Devoted General’s army has higher Armor! And reduced upkeep! Pretty good boons!! Thank for the ALWAYS GREAT content! Been watching you for YEARS! The narrator there at the beginning is the pharoah of egypt and he is speaking from his perspective and history as he perceives it, however the truth of the matter is that Ramses the Great did not vanquish the Hittites. Ramses basically commissioned a bunch of propaganda after the war which made historians and archeologists believe this to be the case and certainly the people of the time as well, however, the battle of Khadesh was a tactical tie but a strategic victory for the Hittites. While it is considered a draw, if anyone won it was the Hittites not Ramses the Great.

Who is surprised if they have the same culture? Back then, that was what people really imagined a culture to be. Every culture had its clothing, its characteristics, its language and writing. What made them different from each other is what we call individual. Today, that has been completely lost. The only ones who still have something like that are the Arabs. Even if not all of them, most have exactly these cultural differences. Today, it has simply become boring.

You are wrong about Chariots. These were early chariots and most of the ones used were closer in use to later light cavalry than heavy cavalry, they cannot charge formed infantry and expect to do well. There is a reason many (most for the Egyptians) are missile troops. The Hittites used heavier chariots than the Egyptians but they would still not be great against non-light infantry, especially spearmen. In game they are pretty devastating when charging light infantry or in Flank or rear charges if given enough room to accelerate, a lot of the recent videos show Chariots being used incorrectly. But when used correctly they do large amounts of damage in a single charge. I have never seen the attraction of the Blood and Gore options personally.

@@Naeron66 Thats the interesting part. The meme that it was about. Was not even racist or had anything to do with the modern world. It was the white cartoony pharaoh meme. Which you see on slot machines. But apperently being white. is racist. and using that meme is too. According to CAs head CM Gobbo. He banned the meme and gave people official warnings for it. Just because some triggered bastard. Thought it was racist and reported it. Because it was a white cartoony pharaoh. It wasnt racist. Nobody else thought it was. However it was reported and the community manager agreed and thus retroactively banned the meme. So they had to remove over 100 pictures of the meme since pharaoh was announced. and give people official warnings. It was used for a long time, And nobody ever had a discussion about race with it. Just one dude that flipped out and reported it. and one head CM that agreed with it. Moderators also found it strange but accepted what the CM said. since well orders are orders. Its like when pepe was declared a hate symbol. same stupidity.
