I've never heard anyone else say "I love that feeling when no one knows where I am". I'm 75 and I've always loved that feeling. True freedom in a way. It's like being invisible as a super power.

Just a reminder to anyone watching this that you can still be a fun person without being able to afford to take a last minute flight to go spend a spontaneous night with a friend in another part of the country ❤

to everyone struggling out there : just keep in mind you don't need to have a van and travel to be happy. i have a house and stable corporate job and a family soon. and i still consider myself as a free spirit in a way. i enjoy being alone i'm very introverted and i often go to the woods and enjoy the nature in silence. i have my special rituals and hobbies and i will always be this way. people called me weird my whole life but i like that about myself. i feel free inside and i often smile when there's a sun coming down or a cute dog looks at me. it's the way of living in our own situations. it doesn't need to be the same like Hannah's life if we don't have a courage or a chance. just create what you can and enjoy. stay safe !

Hi Hannah, I’m 18 years old and I’ve watched you for a long time now. I just wanted to mention how much you lift me up. I’ve been on and off of a deep depression and when I lack motivation I’m always like well I guess it’s Hannah time :) I’m so grateful for you and I hope one day I can be as free spirited as you.

Hi Hannah! I just wanted to thank you for everything you’ve done for me. I found your channel through your cabin renovation videos one night when I couldn’t sleep. I was laying next to my bf of 4 years who no longer loved or appreciated me. I stayed up the whole night watching all your videos and got out of bed at 6am to drive to a park and make coffee out of the back of my car. Seeing you be so fiercely independent and capable gave me so much clarity and I’ve since found so much happiness in being alone. Sometimes I can’t watch your videos because it makes my heart ache being stuck in my apartment trying to get through college when all I want is to be seeing the world. I think that pain is sort of good though, it reminds me what I want. Thank you for being you

"Like a herd of turtles"....🤣🤣🤣🤣 I just pre-ordered your ring. Your personal story of the ring design is so touching. I grew up in the country and while I love my family and being with them, I also love solitude and just being by myself surrounded by nature. I'm 65 now and I love seeing the life you've built in both of your cabins in the woods. Your creativity and self sufficiency blow me away! There's nothing you can't do!

Hannah, I have been watching you for some time now but have never commented on your videos. I bought a cabin a year ago and you inspire me. And I wanted to tell you that I lost my mom 2 years ago and she always used to say when we would leave for a road trip "Well we're off. Like a herd of dirty turtles!" Thank you for sharing your adventures and reminding me that good friends are vital to life and being alone is really cool.

Ahhh, being alone...even in a city of a million souls, I can still find myself...slowly being surrounded by my papaya and banana tree plantings, I relish alone, I talk to the trees, restyle my lil' bungalow and secret gardens...I have lived in those magic places, but age (73) now keeps me close to family...still loving alone and who wouldn't...in Florida...SAFE TRAVELS little sister(and mouse)...

I'm in Arizona and our sunsets are like that every day... people really take them for granted. So excited about my ring, Hannah. Love to you.

I lived in Vernon Arizona for five years. Vernon is at 6,900 elevation. The sunsets were mind blowing. Monsoon season, July thru September. The thunder storms were so intense. Every day from 1pm thru 4pm, torrential rain. Total white out if you're driving. Pull off and wait out the storm. So dangerous to be driving. In spring, learned about an abundance of natural flowers every where along the roads that I'd never seen before. Peace to you.

So many think the desert is ugly. I’ve always found it to be amazing. Yes the summers can be brutal and the winters stark but the sky is always playing wonderful and amazing tricks. The colors and shades are breathtaking. If you are quiet the desert comes alive. In the year I lived in the desert I used to take long walks in the early morning. In that time I identified several different species of rabbits and many different little rodents. Reptiles are everywhere in all different sizes. It’s an amazing place. Your gift with a camera really does justice to this beauty.

I love that you include clips/updates on your drive home. There's something about the trip back home that's just so comforting.

I love that feeling you sometimes get of being the only person on earth too, Hannah. I mostly get it when walking through fog and there's no sound and no one in sight. But this is in crowded Britain, so it doesn't happen often.
