Judy Garland is remembered as one of Hollywood's greatest entertainers. In 1939, 17-year-old Garland starred in MGM's "The Wizard of Oz," the movie that made her a household name. Over the next decade, Garland starred in a number of MGM productions before being fired in 1950. Garland's personal life included five marriages, a slew of successful comebacks and a few near-death experiences.

I remember watching this back in 2001 when it premiered on E! To this day, other than Me and My Shadows, this is the best bio documentary on Garland to have ever been done.

This is very interesting. There's a book by Mel Torme, The Other side of the Rainbow: With Judy Garland on the Dawn Patrol, that is well worth reading
