Dear Maurizio Vescovo,
There isn't anyone in the world I can think of that deserves this moment in life more then you do. Although this is a very sad day for me and many people around the world, I am still so so proud and happy for you! It's an amazing thing to see someone as deserving as you finally reach retirement.
I would like to wish you lots of happiness, wealth , and good health as you begin your new adventures in life.
Thank you for being such an inspiration to all of us!

Sort of seems similar to Slavik's style? It is obviously allowed to be that good at the retirement... but obviously not from the beginning and all the time, as Slavik was... In 2010 Anna and Slavik should have beated SErgey and Melia, but, but, but... you have to earn it by proving yourself in front of the jugdes, it is not enough to be the most talented as Slavik was all the time... It's a pity and sort of injustice... that's how it is now... one day, talent and originality would be the most important...

I think it was Maurizio was much closer to Andra and Slavik to Anna. Dancing at that level in Latin is very emotional and when you have a personal relationship with your partner, you dance that much better. Oh well, it is not to be. Hopefully, the next gen of Canadian dancers will benefit from them if they will teach in Canada. I never was a competitive dancer but I hang around with a few of them. One complain I heard from them is they have to travel to Europe to get the top teachers in the world to coach them. I hope that it will be a game changer for Canadian dancers. I'm crossing my fingers on this.
