I know a guy named Othais that has something similar. He speaks highly of it.
The provenance of this Colt Walker is exceptional and what was the hammer close at auction for the last military version of this incredible weapon???? I suspect north of $1 million! RiA never ceases to amaze me with its incredible history of firearm presentation....truly a caliber all of its own...pun intended!
Out of my price range, but cool history. Belongs in a museum.
Very informative. Thanks, I learned a lot about the Colt Walker.
The fact that someone would own any of these survivors is to me a treat. I don't have the means to own this piece of history but I would love to just hold it.
I know a guy called Othais too! He has a kebab shop lower old Kent road , London. He only has knives to cut the lamb!
umm - check the box Othais is carrying out of your facility :)

WHY DOES THIS KEEP HAPPENING?!
BBQ and parties no wonder Ian spend some much time there.
Who do not like well-told stories? This Colt Revolver from " The 2 Samuels" ( Colt and Walker, gun manufacturers whom worked together at some points to gain Government Armor Contracts ) , Delivered to the A-E Companies, where this object actually has the last Production number ( Nr: 120, the last piece of a batch of 120, which then totalled 1000 pieces to the A to E Companies )
Is this intro one you made yourself, or is it something you can download somewhere?
Looks like you are nursing a Garand Thumb :-)
Put your white gloves on , Spike.
You stated the Pistols were issued in pairs. You also stated that the respective companies were all issued 'their' pistols! Where did you get this? Just because Walker wanted two issued per man, and just because the pistols were marked for A - E, this doesn t mean it happened. Most of the pistols never made it to their respective 'assigned' units. 500 never even made it to out of the ordnance depot (Co. B,D and E)! All of this information is c l e a r l y documented and easily available for basic research.

Some were issued in pairs, particularly in Walkers Unit: C company. Not all of them were, and even the ones that were issued in pairs at first, were later separated and issued to separate soldiers. When the Civil War broke out most Walkers that were still around were captured and put into service by the Confederacy, and in particular mostly Confederate Mounted troops with a few infantry using them as an extra gun brought from home.
What a beauty can’t wait to get my reproduction from cimarron
What happened to the thumb?
What did this Walker hammer at?

I looked it up, 1, 035,000.00. Over 1 million dollars.
😮😳😮😊😀👍🏼
I m guess n around $2,000,000 (1.7 - 2.3). Make sure that '8' on the barrel is 'upside down'.
The elderly many times have clear minds.
Is it a problem to wear latex gloves when handling valuable things like this???

Robert Scott I can only dream
Why doesn't he say what Funk paid the farmer for the gun?? Bet he ripped him off. So from 1972 to 1975 in 1 sale it almost double in price, bet he paid the farmer less than $12000, family kicking themselves now.
Pawn stars I’ll give you 5k$ and I’m taking all the risk
I wonder if buying any of the Colt Walker’s from cimarron, or Taylor’s and Company are ever going to be worth any money down the road
