The Largest Wawa Ever Opens in Philadelphia's Old City
The cathedral of Wawas has opened next to Independence Hall in Philadelphia. The mega Wawa is located at 6th and Chestnut streets - inside the historic Public Ledger building.
The 11,500-square-foot store features two murals designed by local artists Willis Humphrey and Keir Johnston that depict a number of "Philly firsts." Industrial and art deco designs, as well as vaulted ceilings adorn the inside.

Yup! The kids from the surrounding schools rob that store like everyday. And don’t forget about the homeless people out front. Stealing, sleeping and getting high in the bathrooms. None of that stuff (fresh bakery, tap drinks) are there anymore. When the people heard “drinks on tap” they instantly thought of beer. That store has never lived up to the supposed standards and it’s going down hill slowly but surely.

Going to Philly for an overnight stay in January. Making sure to buy a ton of Tastykake snacks to smuggle them back up to NYC.
Peanut chews are the best especially the milk chocolate
They should focus on the rapidly declining quality of their sandwiches than making these massive stores.
