I love that I said 'a short little video' and then proceeded to talk about the weather for 30 minutes. British people love to talk about the weather, I guess.
Anyway, here's the folder with the slides questions, and the data set itself in. Enjoy - if that's even possible...

Make a petition for AQA, OCR, Edexcel to remove this from their A-Level Maths specification. Cambridge International A-Level Maths students don't have to deal with this. I have a bit of envy for those on the Cambridge International exam board. I met a home educated student that chose Cambridge International for A-Level Maths, and UK Edexcel for A-Level Further Maths. Complex numbers, vector equation of line questions from Edexcel A-Level Further Maths was free marks for him, as if GCSE Maths questions were in A-Level Maths, and already covered that part; as complex numbers and vector equation of lines were in Cambridge International A-Level Maths. Didn't have to learn mechanics at all as he told me he chose Probability & Statistics 2 for A-Level Maths and Further Pure modules for A-Level Further Maths. Didn't have to learn large data set as it was not in the Cambridge International A-Level Maths specification.

In stats mode you have to go into SET and make sure that one of the columns is referring to a frequency, and not a data list! That should allow you to input values correctly. Once you've SET them correctly it should all work out properly!

For the modules I'm less familiar with, I'll be doing all the Edexcel papers for the new spec, and I'll try the mock set papers too. I'll also be doing the AS papers too to get more of an idea of the style for the new modules too. If there are any topics I'm shaky on, I'll try and find which module they are in in the IAL or the old spec and do more from there. But I'm not a typical student so won't be doing a ton of full past paper practice, as I'm very used to working fast and under timed pressure, which is why I will probably be selective of individual questions!

Hey sir, a bit of a weird question but have you seen the mock set 4 paper 3 statistics? I’ve done it as a pre mock and got 41/50 - I compared with the grade boundaries of 2023 and 81% seems a bit high for it - it was pretty hard!

The mock set papers aren’t likely to have the same grade boundaries as 2023 - 2023 has been the highest it’s been, and was definitely easier than the mock sets. So use the older grade boundaries for these!
