So say for an employee not a foreman and the employee start time is 7am and he gets there on time he has to sit out front until his foreman comes and gets him unpaid? Meaning say the foreman takes 15 mins to come around front to pick him up then the employee has to sit there for 15mins not being paid even though he got there on time?

Correct the company is losing money if they are walking around the yard, and risk of accidents if walking around

I worked for a company that wanted me to load equipment in morning for free once loaded clock in. I’ve seen mostly everything you can imagine under the sun with shady companies. Of course I did it needed the job at the time. If I tell you everything else I did for free you wouldn’t believe me so I’ll just leave it at that.

How do the crew members clock in? One they are in the truck? do you recommend a software program for clocking in? Great set up
