The Lament of Hermes, read by Graham Hancock

Hermes thrice-great, the Messenger of the Gods and Greek reincarnation of Thoth presents his `lament`, which reads like a prophecy, telling of a time of cultural disease that will be wiped clean to begin anew. Much like many prophecies around today including the 2012 Mayan date, this one from ancient Egypt appears to apply to our time, giving us reason to reevaluate our present.

"And that their inventions might not be lost before they were sufficiently known, upon Adam’s prediction that the world was to be destroyed at one time by the force of fire, and at another time by the violence and quantity of water, they made two pillars: (13) the one of brick, the other of stone: they inscribed their discoveries on them both: that in case the pillar of brick should be destroyed by the flood, the pillar of stone might remain, and exhibit those discoveries to mankind: and also inform them that there was another pillar of brick erected by them. Now this remains in the land of Siriad(Egypt) to this day." - Flavius Josephus of the Antiquities of the Jews(Concerning the Posterity of Adam, and the ten Generations from him to the Deluge.)

I actually heard Graham Hancock say he thought Jehovah was a con-artist alien that duped the believers... Careful Graham, after I spread that video to the right media, someone may just hunt you down and kill you! Wow I can't believe you would be that stupid to say that but I am going to spread your opinion to just the right places.... ;)

"...and they will cease to think the universe worthy of reverent wonder..." I was half expecting to see here an image of the Sphynx today staring at Pizza Hut and KFC - the ultimate image of modern society in the face of ageless wisdom and fruition of spiritual endeavor in stone. Colonel Sanders will ultimately lose that staring contest. Beautiful reading, Graham, and I'm ever appreciative of your work.

This guy is one of the most caring individuals I have ever heard speak. He literally cares about every ones outcome. His talks in public even though they are paid or not are directed in a positive manner for people to take something away. He has made this information his life`s work. That`s my opinion from listening to his speak on KZread and hearing the thought he puts into his books. No i have never personally met him. If you have not read any of his books start with finger prints of the gods then head to Magicians of the gods. You do not have to buy into every thing you hear to enjoy his narrating`s of his audio books or if you read his books the amount of critical thought he puts into arguments.

This reminds me of the cycle of the Yugas, the great ages, in Hinduism. The Kali Yuga period, which we're in right now, is the most deformed and evil, ending in the destruction of the world and then begins the highest, most exalted yuga in a new cycle.

@Vernal Equinox thanks for your reply! No problem at all, funny thing what I figured out that at these moments of unknowing and asking for help, the universe delivers in different ways, soo because months passed, started reeding more and meditation/shadowwork and looking back at my past, books, podcasts, teachers, what I might have overeen asking myself why I was looking outside for answers you sometimes just find them inside, but then I found more about law of attraction and abundance etc, law of one, indeed some nice pearls. I really needed that, cause I felt I was standing still or falling backwards, but then through meditation I found out, that sometimes you need to take a step back to take two forward.. I still haven't looked at the Yuga's and might really start digging into that since i've been through some real kensho lately...strange times, I think I really need to read more tho, although I'm not having time enough for it.. And maybe a new coach/teacher...idk hahaha

agree. These words give hope. These words ring true. I am astounded with there relevance to today. One only need look around, get on the internet, watch the news or talk to others to know we are close to the end. TODAY VERY FEW BELIEVE IN A AFTER LIFE, VERY FEW ARE HONEST, EVEN THE PRESIDENT IS IN IT FOR THE MONEY. OUR PLANET HAS FEW WHO REALLY CARE ABOUT IT. OUR LIVES, JOBS, HEALTH, KNOWLEDGE MEANS LITTLE TO THOSE IN POWER. Corporations run the world backed by Governments. They control the populations for there gains. TIMES ARE GRIM !!!

After you have pondered the parables of Teacher. Then move to the Book of Enoch . Even more to ponder there. Many of the First will be last. Time is Short.

Reflecting of the tragedy of Notre-Dame, this reading by such a wonderful custodian of prehistory comes to mind. Thank you sir for trying bring to light any traces that may remain of our truly miraculous journey. No matter what tragedies or despair may or may not have surrounded them they all paid tribute to the sacred principals of light and dark, gravity and radiation today scientifically recognized as the reciprocating forces of our universe. leveraging these two concepts with integrity is what has brought us to where we are today. All sacred sights attest to their best efforts. The ingenuity of the pharaohs was they built their monuments to withstand ignorance, we sadly will consume ourselves rather than cherish the universal principals of integrity all sacred monuments represent ;(

Etc etc etc etc, I give my total respect, thanks, gratitude, appreciation, and a gert big, human-time-space-now, huge hug, for your life, passion, courage, strength to realise much, to keep carrying on, you indeed are such a Messenger, as a few of us are, to come to try help free, help, love, while our hearts, minds, souls, are so deeply loving, forgiving, faithful, hopeful, that It will be, for the Good of all, not just people, the entirety of it All, when you know feel the depth of inter-connectedness, and yet, exist in This time, again, our hearts, souls, minds, weep, are tired, keep on, keeping on, knowing that much of it may be fruitless, but some, or even just a one, a tiny spark, might not..... And thus our guitars, or sitars, and... watch, feel, and gently weep, but the Faith in, I'm just feeling smiling, just bloody well Is.... 😊

More like what nightmares are made of. So strange how so few see that we are indeed living in the post apocalyptic world now, still waiting for more destrustion wrought by ourselves. Most cant see past our screens and gods to see and experience the real world. Sweet dreams..... 🌟 🌙 🌞

This is truth. The shell of what once existed here is left for all to see and marvel at. Man lived in spirit and flesh on this planet as a pure union. It will be the same again.
