Justin (Jordan Gavaris), a recently divorced gay man, brings Billie (Madison Shamoun), the biracial daughter he gave up for adoption, to the lake where he summered as a boy. Justin hopes spending the summer together with Billie will bring them closer. Still, Justin’s obsession with wresting control of his family cottage back from his stepsister Maisy-May (Julia Stiles) only pushes them further apart. It will take a lot of growing up for all parties to learn how they fit into a family, including the Iron Lady of the lake, Maisy.

@Liz Muschinski Am Canadian can confirm. I am walking on the ice that covers half of our country right now. Jokes aside, we do have by far the most freshwater of any country in the world and my family...has a large, luxurious cottage. That my parents insist on calling a cabin, because...uh...we called our last large, luxurious cottage a cottage, therefore we need to switch it up? It's a cottage. Actually, it's no different than a big house, built with logs for that faux rustic look, but oh no, it's a CABIN. We could probably be in our own show.

Lol, as many have mentioned it’s set in Canada. Also TV is not always abt needing to relate to characters on every minute detail. Do you also have to relate to carrying the ring to Mordor? Going to wizarding school? Maybe it’s abt the more personal moments and themes.

@@lord-lichtYes, that was a very strange comment. Can we relate to 90% of what is on tv? Everyone lives in a giant house in California, everyone is beautiful, is a doctor, lawyer or business executive and has endless drama in their love lives. Yes, we can all relate to that 😆

A comedy that, seen in this way, seems to have original tones. Definitely curious!
This was a surprisingly really good show. I binged it in an evening.

At 1:03 the girl with red ish blonde hair and has like pink blue outfit near the grandpa and the mom I think with brown hair is in my CLASS

It's a goofy and silly show that is exactly what it looks like. If you don't expect too much, you will be pleasantly entertained.

So boring, it doesn't qualify as comedy.
I binge watched it. Some of the dialogue was iffy. Jordan Garvaris overacted a bit. The cast was great though as well as the scenery. I would give it a 8.
