I love how nobody realizes this song is based on hallucinations and potentially Schizophrenia. Sounds like the grandfather had an episode and wandered off, ended up getting hit by the train. And Schizophrenia is hereditary... so the grandson may have it as well, seeing visions of his grandpa, the devil, and the train.

I love this song but why does the official music video look like some random cursed video you would find on an abandoned video camera in the woods..?

The fact that it's 13 years old, is only available in 240p, and keeps glitching gives the whole thing a very cursed feeling.

I think "I've just been a witness to somethin sick and sadistic so twistedly disgusting you should feel real lucky you missed it" is my favorite flow in any rap ever

I know Brian, and that's how I found this song. He never told me about it, but his wife told me to watch it sometime. I think it is absolutely brilliant. These guys filmed and produced this by themselves. I cant ever get tired of it, it came up in my feed, and I immediately watched it. I may re-watch it tonight. It's a lot to digest, if you listen and follow the story, it's worth it.

I was at a wake yesterday and saw Brian whom I hadn’t seen since high school. We talked for a while and he was the most down to earth guy, just like in the late 90s . I had no idea he had formed this group. We were talking music and the lab rats came up in passing. I got home last night and listened . This is so freaking good! Brian was always the most talented kid when we were young and wow doesn’t this prove it. He’s still super chill and just doing his thing living a quiet life. I could have spoken with him for hours…

Perhaps the devil’s train is something that only appears after death. Could be why the devil wondered what a ‘young dude’ was doing by the tracks. The lad could’ve died, overdosed or been hit by a train. The ‘birth of sadness’ could be the grief others feel after a loved one’s death.
