Thanks for the video. I agree the "kitty holster" looks uncomfortable around the neck and it also doesn't look like it allows that much freedom around the legs and it looks like it would be hot on summer days.

Thanks for the video! OS actually means one size which, of course, doesn't always fit all. It looks like Frisco needs the shorter neck version of Kitty Holster. Crates are best for transporting your cat in the car and they can be secured with a seatbelt.

+Grace Harris Yeah, generic cat harnesses tend to be that "one size fits all" which like you said, don't always fit. I find that my 9-10lbs female won't fit too well in those or just barely, I assume they are made for the smaller 7-8lbs kitties. I saw the "Custom Harness" option but those start at $29.99 and the narrow collar option is an additional $4.95. If were going to try to walk my cats outside I would buy it and try it, but for just traveling *always in a carrier, I don't want to spend $35 on a harness.

Thanks for the video. I actually just got done cutting the neck down a bit on my kitty harness. So agree about the neck issue on them. It is wayyyy too big. As you said, it looks like a neck brace. My guy just looked like he was choking and I tried different sizes just to make sure. It's too bad as it would be great without that problem. I came on here looking for other harness reviews as now I am concerned mine is not secure enough. Actually, I always was as he got out of it 15 seconds after I out it on before I trimmed it.

I bought one of the Holster harnesses and was so disappointed. It just did not fit despite my taking measurements. I think they are more suited for dogs.

I think the idea of having the harness on while traveling even tho they are in a crate is quite good, you never know what could happen and it’s like an added security. I wanted a harness so my cat can come out and enjoy the garden with me. The harness I bought is by Bingpet, I thought it looked good and easy to put on, but it has the same thick neck piece as this one and it really doesn’t seem right. I know cats necks are different to dogs and much more sensitive to pressure around it, so I don’t want him wearing one that isn’t comfortable or that might cause him problems, I thought this one might be different, the body part is longer which like you said is meant to be harder for them to escape from it has the same thick neck piece. I’ll have to keep looking.
