I have had the pleasure of attending and watching ballet for decades. This performance by the principles is the very best that I have ever witnessed! Zakarova and Ruzimatov are perfection. Whoever did the paring needs to be commended too!

"Firebird" é um balé com elementos ligados ao grotesco, porém, é uma lenda russa contada com movimentos do corpo. Por sinal, uma lenda muito popular tal como é "Stone Flower" ("Flor de Pedra"). Infelizmente, as direções artísticas só lembram desses balés quando vão homenagear alguém pois os retiraram de sua grade de repertório. O fato é que "Firebird" imortalizou também o grande Nijinsky. E "Stone Flower" foi um dos grandes momentos de ascensão do Bolshói quando fez turnês pelo mundo na década de 80. Além de possuírem partituras belíssimas!!! Ao passo que "Firebird" foi (e ainda é!) o horror de bailarinas pq Rimsky- Korsakov criava balés para "o impossível" e os coreógrafos levavam isso á risca. Gostaria de pedir que pesquisassem a versão da roupa da protagonista de "Firebird" na versão de Balanchine!!! O trabalho de Bárbara Karinska (ou "Sra Karinska") foi algo que ninguém conseguiu se igualar nem de perto!!! Viva a maravilhosa cultura russa e seus meandros complexos!!! =)

Однозначно Лучшие! Как передает эмоции Цискаридзе в танце играя не только пластикой тела , но и лицом , так не передает никто , недаром он был последним любимы учеником Великих Семеновой, Улановой Григоровича, Пестова !!!❤ С Грачевой , у них замечательный дуэт один из лучших👍👏🏻🔥

Kirov want to dance the Ballet Russes choreography but can't even do it precisely and perfectly like the royal ballet and ABT🤦🏽‍♂️ at 1:08:51 the firebird reaction should be fast cuz she's trying to escape from the prince..whyyy the Bolshoi and kirov like to make the music slower😑

@@Lara_Chayka lol they literally didn't get the choreography right and Fokine didn't choreograph this dance when he was in Russia,he choreograph these dance in France and many of the choreography didn't even get through "Soviet Russia" until 1980s other ballet company get this dance right except the russian obviously.

@@Dancetilldeathdousapart well, yes, in France and New York, in this ballet, centenarian old women probably dance with the "correct choreography"? If you have not personally seen how Ida Rubinstein and Nezhinsky dance in this ballet, do not tell others how to do it correctly. Maybe the orchestra doesn't play Rimsky-Korsakov correctly enough? This is the Russian ballet, a Russian composer and a Russian choreographer, and you are just jealous, and that's why you "choreography is wrong". In Russia, in 1993, the Scheherazade was resumed by Isabel Fokina, I think that she knew exactly better than you how to dance correctly in this ballet.

It’s Nijinsky’s original choreography and concept. His style is dated and simple compared to today’s. Movements are more closely tied to the music and subtlety is pushed to the side for storytelling. It’s overdramatic bc it’s a ballet drama (all of them are). It’s just as athletic, just in a different style.

The costume of the girl in spectre de la rose is awful and too long , not flowing at all.
