Totally agree! I also really liked the 80s bunch (Bill Ives, Jeremy Jackman, Stephen Carrington etc)

Paul Phoenix is a fantastic tenor. He just perfectly blends his chest and head voices and can compliment both the countertenors or the baritones when needed. Amazing.

Adroitly done with impeccable musicality and comedic timing, with an overarching & genuine sense of ensemble.

Singing Rossini's arias is hard enough. I just cannot imagine singing the orchestral parts! This is amazing!

I still think that the original version that the King singers did in the 80s was much better. However, I have to say that this is not a bad version at all.

Oh they all are absolutely MAGNIFICENT, I can not stop listening (and watching!)))

This is my second favourite lineup! I absolutely love Paul Phoenix on the tenor, Stephen Conolly on the bass, Philip Lawson on the baritone, David Hurley on the countertenor, Robin Tyson on the countertenor, and Christopher Gabbitas on baritone, Actually I just like this whole lineup!

It's fantastic. I can not listening them over and over again.

Jaw Drop. My family has an old videotape of the previous king singers doing this exact song. We never really remembered or found out where it was recorded but it became a part of our family lore, nobody else knew what the heck we were doing when we started doing excerpts from it. Seeing this. Mind blow jaw drop, insides totally giggly.

I heard this music for the first time in the early 1960's on my Dad's 78 rpm records. It has always stuck with me. These guys are fantastic. As Bugs Bunny told Elmer Fud in the Rabbit of Seville What's Up Doc.

They're all incredible, but I think David Hurley is my favorite in the group. :3 He has such a pure tone in his voice, and I personally think he makes the best facial expressions. He's so fun to watch. You can tell he really loves what he does.

Doing this for Spring Concert. To cover parts, I'm singing tenor I. This is the best song ever.

Love this - and so do my 4- and 5-year-old granddaughters. They love the "B" section and sing along with the "tiddlely poo." The 2-year-old granddaughter begs to see "tiddlely poo"! Love the DVD with this on it.

You can tell they're just having soooo much fun. LOL Love these guys.

Depends what mortician he used.Man was born in 1792 and died in 1868. He would need a stupendous mortician or a medium -sized miracle.😁
