What a wonderful and humble gesture by the King and Queen of Bhutan. I love these people....the Bhutanese at large. The King and Queen are exemplary examples of that humble, polite and simple culture. No wonder the happiness index in that country is one of the best in the world.

Watching this clip, I am so impressed with the attitude and behaviour of the King and Queen of Bhutan, and the third person with them. They are so respectful and dignified, humble, sincere and genuine. They serve as superb role models to the world, and are a credit to their country. Although they themselves are royal, when they bowed to Queen Elizabeth paying their final respect to Her Majesty, I thought my heart would burst because of the sheer humility and respect they showed the English Monarch. Bhutan is a country I have wanted to visit, and as a Polish Australian, I have the greatest respect for your country’s royal family and its people.

Makes no sense . Even Dubai and Thailand have a flat rate on arrival and we pay that but not daily rate . It defies the problem

Props to the king of Bhutan for voluntarily giving up absolute monarchy for a constitutional monarchy (even his own people didn't want democracy but he knew it would be best for the country probably). I watched several documentaries about the royal family of Bhutan, they may have had to play political games to get to where they are now and survive until the modern day, but nothing remotely as heinous as the destabilization done by "democracies" and "world powers". You gotta respect their ingenuity while also sticking to traditions.
