Great review as always Bob. It´s incredible that you can get a keyboard with a screw-less ball catch system and a magnetic daughter board for this price point! Good thing is that this should push other manufacturers into adopting these features into their sub $100 USD budget boards now. I mean, how much can it cost to implement them? It´s not like they are reinventing the wheel. I would get it, but I prefer 65% boards since I never, ever use the F-keys. If they came out with a 65% board with these features, I would get it in a heart beat. I see it has a nice ¨foamy¨sound signature. I would personally take out the foams and go for a ¨clackier¨ build.

75% seems to be really popular in this price range. But i agree, 65% would probably be killer at this price point. I tried it in stream with no foams and it sounded good it just was too flexy and would bottom out. If they offered a alu or cf plate it would fix that.
Enjoyed the review 🌞 The budget keyboard space is really heating up!

It really is!
Do you think the nd75 is better than the finalkey v81+ that you also reviewed a while back? also can you customize the screen like the v81? Thanks! Great Video.

Ya 10 fold imo. Way more modern, a lot more features and it sounds better imo. You can customize the screen in the v81 but the software is sketchy and hard to use
2 years ago this was literally impossible to have a keyboard that good at this price point you had to pay over 250$ to get those specs, Imm definitely buying one!!

@@BokehhBob indeed! That’s the beauty of competition
how would you compare it to the rainy 75, yunzii al75 and the leobog 75, they're all between 100-130 and they're all really nice otb

So i can’t compare it with the rainy since I haven’t tried one but it is light years better than the yunzi and the Leobog. Sounds better and of course has better features. The multiple mounting systems and quick release top with magnetic daughter board are really hard to beat. Especially if you’re tinkering with your board a bunch
Too bad it isnt via/qmk compatible. I ordered one anyway since I was in the market for a 75% on exploded layout. I was eyeing the sonnet, especially the new one thats coming out in June, but damn, this just takes the cake for the price.

Ya it’s really hard to beat with all the features it offers
Is the aluminum part of the keyboard a bit blueish white?
@BokehhBob

not sure what part your talking about. The weight is raw aluminum and the actual keyboard was white. Like E white
o ring sounds nice :) too foamy for me tho haha

I prefer the silica gel, but ya I’m not a foam user either. It’s still incredible how cheap it is
I'd better start saving (again) this thing won't be available in my country for at least next 3 - 6 months anyway nice info 👍

@@BokehhBob Should try Rainy 75 it kill all other board except Zoom 75 but that much more.
Like y suscrito
how does it sound with no foams? $90 for a prebuilt alu is crazy

It actually sounded pretty good, if you go to my build vod either here on KZread or on twitch you can find the sound test. The only thing is, it’s super flexy so it bottoms out, i had to put a layer of lap on the bottom of the case to act as a esd sheet. Hopefully in the future they release a plate file or different plates without flex cuts which would also help.
