You should run the op08 7 drop king, don -1 for rush is perfect for closing out some games

I still almost exclusively play pure purple kaido, and have since ST01-04. One strong tech option to consider is the FILM deck Douglass Bullet. He is an 8cost for 10k - and his ability let's you tap Borsalino and Fukaro if your 9 or 10 Kaido can't kill them. With Onigashima, you can even do some fun, nixhe things on 10 Don like use Bullets effect to Tap 2 blocks, gain double attack, Onigashima to go back to 7 Don, then use Kaido leader ability.

I think that the 7cost king is so much better than the 6 cost king in the deck because it synergizes with Black Maria and ur leader ability so much better, and it’s a rusher

I’d consider adding a few copys, but no way I’d completely swap out 6 cost King. It’s your best play going first after Onigashima on turn 2. Also it’s just a great card against RP Law as it KOs a 4 cost and has 7k statline which is really awkward for them to remove.

In second game when you played black maria you could use her ability and your hero ability in that round for free.

If you’re talking about the turn I played her on 3 DON it’s actually not free. The 5 DON from Black Maria puts me at 8 and after leader DON -7 I would be back at 1 DON which means I couldn’t play Kid next turn.
