I heard the reason they got rid of the kindle oasis was because they were going to make a colored e-reader in 2025. while I would love that a lot I believe the price for that would be 300 at minimum and that's too steep for me.

I’ve been searching for a kindle oasis since October last year and I’ve seen the Libra so I really needed this video! If they update to a new model I would buy it! So weird Amazon is saying goodbye…

Thinking of getting a Kobo to complement my Kindle PW. 🙊 Really struggling to decide between the Libra 2 and Libra Colour. I’m not too bothered about colour covers & highlighting but I do like the fact that the processor is better with the Libra Colour. I’ve heard lots of mixed reviews about the screen & contrast with the Libra colour, so wondering if the Libra 2 would be best. Love your E-reader collection!

I was going to get the Oasis when Amazon decided to update it, but since that's not happening, I might get the Kobo instead. I'm still doing some research on it, though. I love your channel. Exactly what I was looking for.

I do prefer kindle unlimited though the kobo store is very limited, where do you buy your books from for it? I live in a small town don’t have a library that provides loads of books

Kobo plus has a good amount on it! You can get from the library via overdrive. There is a good bit on robo.com… at least the bigger names that I want! 😀

You can purchase the no ads feature for your oasis 👍🏻

I love reading on the kobo wayy more but I can't stand Kobo Plus, it's sooo useless so I still find myself on my Kindle/Kindle Unlimited constantly

You mentioned wishing you got the Kindle with no ads- I'm not sure if you're aware, but you can pay $20 to Amazon to have them removed

@@thebooknookcorner1153u can also just ask politely in customer service and mention the ads are inappropriate. They’ll remove it for free then. There are some videos on it in KZread too. U can try it 😊it’ll take just 10-15 min

Do you know any ebook which has statistics for the amount of pages or time read? That would be a cool feature. I don’t understand why dedicated e-readers wouldn’t have this😕

Hmm that’s a hard one.. I would have to say probably the oasis but by a smidgen of a difference!

I love that the kobo tells you how many (kobo) pages is left in a chapter especially if it’s long I know that’s a silly reason to prefer it but I like it 😂 like if my husband wants to talk to me I’m like 1 min got 3 pages left 😅😅😅😅
