It’s 2022 and this is still the best live version. His vocals are more on point on this performance than others. He really did warm up before that performance.

thats not why he does that .. Its a singer technique for when you are singing louder and higher to not blow the mic out

Brandon is also a little off sometimes :P and sometimes even more than a little haha. I am not hating btw, I even got a The Killers tattoo, so they are my life. and Brandon is my biggest inspiration :D but this is not his best performance :P

Nick Post Yeah it's hard to rate someone's best performance. Though seeing him live, his voice has some endurance and experience. I would hope that he can sing his song better than a contestant from the voice. I agree to him being an inspiration. He's a good one at that.

Brandon Flowers is coming from such a deeper place than whoever this girl is. She has that generic "The Voice" sound, that is really a dime a dozen. She has a nice voice, but they absolutely don't complement each other at all. Brandon has a lifetime of loving the coolest music ever made, drinking it in, living it, sleeping it, singing it. Ugh. No, I wish they hadn't done this duet...big thumbs down. Maybe it was just to be nice? Lots of publicity for them, that's for certain, but bet they didn't add a single fan to their base. Voice viewers are not Killers fans, are they?

I had heard the Killers before this but never gave them much thought. After this I listened to much more of their music. So it absolutely gained them some popularity.

There's a precious few singers you should NEVER attempt a duet with, and Brandon Flowers might just be at the top of the list. Way too powerful, way too much range, plus he's one of the best looking, best-dressed front men in the business.She's lucky she won the Voice after this fail.

What an idiot. So nobody should ever sing a duet with a great singer? A duet is not intended to be a competition. By the way she did great. Also the voting was already over when she did this duet. This was done as a showcase for the winner.

I'm a huge fan of Cassadee and I think she has a really great voice, but I never quite understood why they had her perform with The Killers. Neither sound bad (in fact I'm a big fan of both of them), but they both have two totally different styles, and Cassadee's voice just doesn't seem to suit the song. If the song was remixed and the whole song was sung by Cassadee (like if she did a cover of this song in her own style), it would sound great. But mixed with Brandon's, it just sounded a little weird to me. I'm a huge Cassadee fan, though, so I'm not hating-I'm just saying it was one of her only weaker performances on the entire show.
