Great question. Could it possibly refer to those Jewish " believers",who after confessing Jesus as Lord,later decide to go back to the law for righteousness? Jewish believers because it was a letter written particularly to them. Or maybe to anyone who after receiving the truth of the forgiveness of sins through his blood, decide to take the grace of God for granted and deliberately decide to live a life of sin because all sins are forgiven?
I'm not concerned with church one bit whatsoever, especially in light of all the recent troubles of sexual molestation in the church & pastor abuse, I'll take a hard pass forever for the rest of my life
