I never watched Pastor Roberts preach until I recently watched his conversation with Sarah Jakes Roberts discussing the time she humbly snatched her ill-fitting wig off while preaching to stay on track with the message. The respect and reverence he showed her told me he is a man worth listening to. In a religion filled with misguided misogynists, Bishop Jakes and Pastor Roberts are real men among boys. They know they don’t have to put women down or hold them back to show they are real leaders. 🙌

I love to listen to Pastor Toure. The reason why is because he preaches from a pure place. He doesn’t shrink or hide from his wife’s glow and he knows who he is. We can all take a lesson of true humility from him.
