A Jalapeño popper inspired pinwheel would be great. Cream cheese, chopped jalapeños, and bacon. Also a Buffalo chicken dip pinwheel. Frank’s red hot has a great recipe that calls for shredded chicken (I use rotisserie) ranch dressing, cream cheese, blue cheese crumbles, Frank’s red hot sauce and green onions. Combine ingredients and prepare the same way as these pinwheels!

Some ideas...one with cream cheese with Pecan Pie Almond Nut Butter as a desert. Minced shrimp or crab, green onions, garlic with extra cream cheese. One with cream cheese, sun dried tomato, feta, olives and fresh basil. A breakfast one with mexican chorizo cooked with scrambled eggs, mexican shredded cheese, salsa verde and cilantro. taco meat, cheese, salsa, black olives and cilantro. Sprinkle cream cheese with caraway seeds, Dijon mustard, add Corned beef, sour kraut, Swiss cheese. One with roast beef, provolone and bell peppers.

Capers are the unriped green buds of a prickly bush called capparis spinosa that grows wild across the Mediterranean and parts of Asia. Those briny globes we buy in jars at the grocery store start as flower buds, then get picked, dried and preserved. Capers are either cured in salt or pickled in brine, which gives them their trademark savory, briny flavor.

omg you guys I just tried the raspberry almond cheesecake. I was lazy and didn't make pinwheels. I just spread the sweetened cream cheese, raspberry jam, and almond slices on the tortilla and folded it in half. I microwaved it for about 20 seconds and cut it into 4 wedges. It was so delicious. I added the almond extract to the sweetened cheese mixture also.

Capers are the immature, unripened, green flower buds of the caper bush. The plant is cultivated in Italy, Morocco, and Spain, as well as Asia and Australia. It's most often associated with Mediterranean cuisines, but enjoyed worldwide. Brined or dried, the caper is valued for the burst of flavor it gives to dishes. It adds texture and tanginess to a great variety of recipes, including fish dishes, pasta, stews, and sauces. PS, you can also make fresh no cook freezer jam too. Its so much better tasting than the cooked fruits for preserves. I blend fresh berries of choice, use a touch of sweetener of choice, add in powered Chia seeds (that I grind in coffee grinder) or no cook pectin. Mix in fresh berries, put in containers and allow to set up for about 20 minutes then put in freezer. Chia seeds jell up very nice!

Capers are the seeds of the caper vine. Grows on rocky cliffs in the Mediterranean. After hand harvested, they are sun dried then fermented (brined) or pickled (vinegar). Look on the label to see which method is used. Best to get the brined ones as that means its fermented. Large "capers" are most likely nasturtium seeds. Truly watching you two. Thanks for your channel.

This hit my feed again today and I had to watch. I remember watching this and other Keto Twins recipes/posts in the weeks before I started Keto at the end of January this year. I knew if I could have things like these once in a while, that (technically) keto would be sustainable for me. And I was right. I'm in a bit of a slump atm, but that's after a 52lb weight loss. So whatever difficulties you face, just know there are so many people like me that have changed for the better because of your channel. Trolls be damned, you're providing humor, inspiration, and heart and I appreciate your efforts as much as I did 9 months ago.

If you guys buy a quesadilla maker you can let it bake in there with easy clean up. Just top a tortilla shell on top of the other and brush outsides with butter. I plan on buying a quesadilla maker.

Thanks for the ideas. I love those Mission Carb Balance Tortillas. They have them at the Costco where I live so its more economical to buy. I also find that they store a long time. I usually make a breakfast tortilla or a taco but I will be trying these combinations. Keep up the great job- you two are great!

The capers, flower buds, are not olives nor at all like an olive. They are sooo yummy and I loved seeing them on your salmon roll up. Great video.

After watching your last video I made the pizza ones, the original bagel bite one and then I came up with a ham, swiss and spinach and a Philly cheese steak with roasted red peppers cheddar and roast beef lunch meat. Delicious and so fun. My 11 yr old does keto with me and he loved having really good snacks this week. Lol
