I remember after his parents died, he had made some comment to Kourtney about how she closest to him of anyone in his life or something. At one point on the show years ago, he wanted to marry her but she wasn't interested. She didn't trust him. He would get drunk and act foolish. When not with Kourtney, he ran with a lot of women - some much younger. He spent a lot of time playing around but thought maybe he'd still end up with Kourtney someday. I think he realizes that she was the one that got away. Not only did he lose her, but he lost the family in a way as he doesn't get invited to family gatherings (makes sense of course). I do think if he had shaped up years ago she would have married him.

I’ve met a man like Scott. They can’t leave behind chasing young hot girls and yet feel this deep bond to the women who held it down for them. Many of them don’t change their ways until it’s too late. I’m happy for kourtney. She’s embracing her body (not having extreme plastic surgery like her sisters, not that it’s a bad thing), feeling that chemistry and fun love again. After all Scott’s put her through and yet she’s still being there for him, she deserves her own happiness too.

So I just found out today the same thing happened to me. 2 kids later and my boyfriend ( now ex) keeps cheating. This time I’m done for good. Mine thinks he’s as hot and rich as Scott but he’s not even close

I feel badly for Scott too,but you can't blame Kourtney for moving on. She invested 10 years with him. It is sad that his family is broken up and his parents have passed. I hope he finds his own happiness.

I feel bad for Scott because I get it this has been his family for 17 years, he lost both his parents within a short time span this is the only family he knows. Its sad he feels left out but he also acknowledged he did Kourtney wrong and I hate that people try to make her feel guilty for finding happiness again.

Totally agree. He may have changed for the better. Good for him. He has 3 kids and he has to be a good father for them. But Kourtney has a right to find her own happiness and live her own life. He did her dirty too many times. Plus, he doesn't hesitate to date a bunch of young girls and the family seems to be okay with it? So what's the drama is all about anyway

She's inlove with travis and I'm so happy for her. She deserves to be happy. I do hope Scott finds that special someone because he's grown up alot and has changed for the better. ​@@InfamousAWJ Agreed, that's just a very bad take. He gave Kourtney 3 beautiful kids and stepped up to be a great father to them despite her tricking him into having 2/3 of them. He also has been just as much there for the entire family as the family has been there for him throughout the years as evidenced time and time again on the show. They wouldn't call him a "blood" brother/ son otherwise. He's probably shown up for them and been more a part of their lives than their actual brother has in the past decade. Agreed he has issues with maturity and addiction which has led to some VERY bad decision making on his part and hurt the family immensely over the years and I'm not excusing any of that, but they've all come out the other side together because he's family regardless of his current relationship with Kourtney. To basically act like he's some jobless loser and discredit his grid throughout the years couldnt be more misguided. He's leveraged his fame from the show to become very entrepreneurial just as the rest of the family has. Tbh he works harder than Kourtney and hasn't been sitting on his ass and taking handouts from the the family like Rob. Let's also not forget that the show wouldn't be the same without him. His drama, growth, and intriguing dynamic with the family has also been a big reason that people kept coming back and why the show (and thus the family's collective fame) has lasted this long. Nobody really noticed all that much when Rob slowly phased himself out or when Caitlyn was axed but I saw soo much social media concern that the new Hulu series would move away from Scott which upset people because they felt like it wouldnt be worth watching anymore. Catering to what/who the viewers want to see is why they put in so much scott over making it more about travis and Kourtney's relationship (Kourtney herself was actually confused why Hulu did that) Point is, he's basically the only non blood related person who's ever had as much of an impact on building the show as the Kardashians themselves. To act like he's done nothing and just been along on the free ride is just a piss take because he's helped build their brand and helped kept it relevent period. He deserves a piece of the pie and a seat at the table, he's earned it.

I was never a Kardashian fan but a few years ago i watched when Courtney went to the supreme court to talk about toxic cleaning products and how they are bad for people and children, I was like this chic is awesome. And one where she yelled at Kim about her being all about making money and kourt was like I have enough, I would rather enjoy my time with my kids. She seems down to earth. I was in a 11 yr relationship, with a guy like Scot, not such a Deusch bag but he wasn't affectionate or anything and didn't look at me like I was a goddess. Travis does kourt and it gives me hope I find a great guy and a sweet love like that. She looks so happy . I'm a punk rocker and I think it's great they are together. Yeah, her sisters were always jealous of her. once she got with Travis I thought wonder what Kim will do to try to steal her lime light. haha. I just watched this episode and I was shocked while all the sisters were talking at the surprise engagement party by Kendall asking Kourtney if she cared what Scott's feelings were gonna be about it. Kourtney replys yes and Kendall then goes on to say basically that she doesn't think Kourtney does. Ummm... excuse me what?? While in a relationship with Scott he was a horrible partner. Cheated constantly the drinking and drugs. He's also been in and out of relationship with women half his age the whole entire time they've been broke up. An Kourtney still went with him and his girlfriend and the kids on a "family" vacation. Kourtney treated his girlfriend with a lit of respect. So why of all things at this beautiful beyond special moment in her life have to talk about Scott and his feelings? Because we ALL know for a fact he didn't care or even think about Kourtneys feelings. I get he's lost his family and the Kardashians have always welcomed him in and made him apart of theirs but come on. I didn't get also why the kids werenr there all because they didn't want to tell Scott and get him all upset about the engagement. Kourtney has always put being a mother over everything. Plus if Scott would talk to at least Mason and Penelope about how the engagement isn't going to change anything he'll always be there dad and how them being engaged they'll have two dads. I think Mason and P were upset because Travis's kids were there and they were left out. Anyways fid anybody else find it hilarious whenever Scott was say basically he was a horrible partner so he's always felt quilty so that's why he's had to be there for Kourtney? Really? I feel the opposite. And I say that because he gives me “user” vibes as in the Kardashians is his meal ticket. I feel he’s manipulative. Because when he goes to New York he is visiting his extended family. He lost his parents not his whole family.

@@michellemichelle446 People aren't always close to their extended family. I know outside of my immediate fam, I don't talk to any relatives on a regular basis. I might see them once or twice a year to visit, but we're not super close. It's more common than you might think. I do agree that the family helped him a great deal and he has benefited, but I also believe there is a genuine love & bond there.

No, it doesn't excuse the hurt he has caused from his past actions, but I'm not getting that he is a bad person vibe. He is a very flawed and haunted soul.

Iffy? At best maybe. The whole family is seen by media and those who follow them as the way to make choices and live life. Hollywood celebrities show time and time again to be the worst example of how to endure relationships. We have so many people who want to be just like these people. Kinda Scary! Such is life i guess, drama and gossip feeds the need to avoid own situations and drama.

I am really soo happy for her! (Kourtney & Travis) It really looks AUTHENTIC and sweet! After ALL what we kno she has been thru w Scott PUBLICLY but chose to ALLOW him to stay soo close to HER family (not JUST co parenting their kids) and PROSPER from it!!! (or did she have a choice.. ) While he has mostly done NOTHING but humiliate HER on soo many levels desperately and manipulatively IMPOSE himself into HER family REGARDLESS of HER feelings and yet he's STILL whining about SOMETHING constantly.. and then her damn sisters bullying her w THEM being ungrateful and insensitive to HER feelings and how HUGE a contributor SHE has been to their damn show from the start. Like IT or she wasnt enough and they R soo much more! (The show was a HUGE if not only contribution to all their success' although not sure WHAT Klhoe's success is yet. Lol Fame?? Ok?? Lol) They SHOULD B happy for her and much MORE respectful GENUINELY.. not just for seemingly new "content" for show they redundantly and not so new spew same old buzzwords and buzz phrases about! ("amazing" "omg soo amazing" "so happy" "shes living her best life" "we just want her to b happy" "hes a great guy"..blah blah blah..did I say "amazing" lol) The WHOLE show and their LIVES seem ALL scripted. A corporation DISGUISED as a "family"!!! A "family" only for sake of the corporation that perpetuates and enables TOTAL narcissism in the TRUE sense of the word at its finest! Its not "amazing" its SHOCKING!!!

This is partially Kourtney's fault too. Before she started dating Travis, and Scott was dating other girls, she always tagged along. He even made mention in one of the episodes how their significant others would have to face the fact that they were close. Kourtney didn't say anything to contradict that. Then she met Travis, and she completely blocked Scott out. Like where's the threesomes she used to have with his girlfriends. Why was it okay for them to be close when he had girlfriends, but not when she has a boyfriend.

He deserves happiness too...

Thank you!!!!! I keep saying this but no one seems to remember! Yes he messed up and was foolish and childish but at some point he cleaned up really nice when he was dating Sophia. But Kourtney was with them allll the time and it was so awkward and Scott actually said he’d always put her first and then when she found a man she’s like “ok bye”.

He had a solid relationship with Sophia. She was good for him. I also think he went back to dating all these 19 yr olds because he new they wouldn’t want anything serious in his hopes of waiting for Kourtney to break up.

It’s really not not out of ordinary when you don’t have a relationship with your ex and your ex family. If there’s kids involved, Yes have a cordial relationship but don’t expect to get invited for every little gathering.

his biggest mistake is that he keeps trying to be part of the family. that cost him relationships with women. kourtney kept him around when he was dating other women, even vacationing with him and his girlfriends and kept a close eye on him and the minute she fell in love, he was thrown under the bus by the whole family. he should reach out to other relatives, probably aunts and uncles and cousins and form a relationship with them. he desperately needs a family and puts himself down by constantly waiting for them to prioritize him. he should have a healthy relationship with the kardashians with healthy boundaries

Seriously i dont know how Scott manage not to relapse . No parents no sister no brother, her wife just married another guy .

He thought she will always be around. A lot of basic men think like this. Let this be an example of what not to do.

Scott doesn't want her but he doesn't want anyone else to have a relationship with her. You snooze you lose. Scott grow up and go enjoy your life nothing to hold you I guess it doesn't feel the same now that your ex is in love with someone else who makes her so so happy.
