Homicides & killings/murders happen worldwide because of love of money and power, drug addiction, alcoholism, and even without any reason at all. My sister and her husband instantly died in a car accident in the USA because of a drunk driver. it's not just getting killed by a man (murder), it can be due to accidents too. In 2018, my father sang that song on the daylight before he died. The cause was accidental (he was drunk, lost his balance, and hit his head on the floor). He handles his liquor well, but to think that he sang that the day he died still gives me the creeps.

My team mate in a call center use to sing this as our finale song every time our team goes out drinking and videoke session. No violence happened but a lot of laughters.

Let us explain scientifically why MY WAY caused 12 deaths among drunkards & undiagnosed mentally deranged people (singers and killers). Overconsumption of liquor diminishes the cognitive ability of a person. It's because of the depletion of glucose due to overconsumption of alcohol that numbs the cerebral cortex of a drunk person, so their subconscious mind takes over. Lyrics of songs most of the time stimulate the subconscious mind. When MY WAY'S lyrics: "AND NOW, THE END IS NEAR AND SO I FACE THE FINAL CURTAIN. . ." enter the subconscious mind (especially of trigger-happy people), their drunk mind takes it LITERALLY and pushes them to pull the trigger. Remember, most of the killers were drunk and not in their proper state of mind. It is not the subconscious mind that thinks logically but the cerebral cortex that can distinguish what is right from wrong. The physical brain cannot tolerate the effects of more than two bottles of beer or more than one shot of hard liquor in one sitting because of glucose and vitamin C depletion resulting in malfunctioning of the brain or temporary insanity. So, the brain does not function well when one drinks more than the brain's threshold. This is one of the reasons why they become violent or rape a woman due to too much intoxication. (Too much alcohol is an aphrodisiac). The moral of the lesson is DRINK MODERATELY or never sing My Way again. It's a triumphant song that stimulates the subconscious mind of a drunk person negatively.

Ahh, in one of the actual murders, it was a guard (so there was a 5:07 gun) who wasn't part of the party who killed the singer. The guard wasn't drunk, the singer was just horrible. No science here, just two jerks. I hope the two of them brought the rest of the party to their senses.

I fully understand ang point ng video na to. One time nabanggit ko sa kapitbahay namen na kung magvivideoke cla e nakiusap ako na sana hanggang 10pm lang. Na-gaslight pa nga at ako pa yung pinagmukhang masama na kesyo binabawalan ko daw cla magsaya sa gabi. 😆 Kaya ayaw ko na cla konprontahin at nilapit ko na lang sa HOA. sisig is my favourite Filipino food. Shout out to all the Filipinos I love the Philippines and Filipino people. Only thing I didn’t like was my brother in law making me sing karaoke after drinking a bunch of beer na beer from my tita’s sari sari store 😅

Fun fact Paul Anka wrote the lyrics of "My Way" for Sinatra, but the tune itself comes from a French song about falling out of love (Comme d'habitude -- "As usual"). Ironic Anka wrote a classic song about ego but felt another singer should be the one to sing it. by the way, if its ok could you please stick to English? you do have an international audience who would love to hear your stories too.
