Amazing video! enjoyed it thoroughly. I flew with Qatar earlier this year to Perth, a memorable experience. I'm definitely looking forward to the Emirates comparison video as I've yet to experience EK on PER - DXB route.

Can I ask if the airport is easy to navigate around? I'm doing this flight to Perth in a few weeks, and never flown Qatar before, I'm wondering if I'll get lost looking for my gate to Perth 🤣 x

Hamad International is an amazing airport, easy to navigate around and lots of help available should you need it. I was there yesterday haha it’s busy but fun, you should be alright. Wish you a safe flight!

I've flown Qatar, Emirates, Singapore, Qantas, and Etihad to Perth. I'd rate Qatar the best for food, Emirates is better for comfort and in-flight entertainment. Singapore I'd put third, Qantas fourth and Etihad last (no longer flying to Perth. Emirates is considerably more expensive than Qatar.

Very good flight there. What I find it interesting was that the QR A388 uses Thales as their entertainment system. It is a very good entertainment system. However I noticed that the in flight map looks quite outdated. Other airlines using Thales as their entertainment uses 3D Maps Geofusion. This displays the latitude and longitude, flight number, date of flight, tail registration and elevation and population of city. I flew the SQ A350 Medium Haul and this uses the 3D Geofusion Maps system.

Awsome video, i will be on the route from london to doha( qatar air bus a350-1000) and doha sydney ( airbus a380) im so excited

Travelled to doha 4 months ago from manchester awful flight,we changed planes fromA350 to the oldest 777 in qatar fleet.Would never fly with them again!

MAN Airport, aka every large shopping mall you've ever visited. They've taken airport shopping to the extreme. At terminal 1 you have to slalom through the cosmetic and electrical good counters just to get to your gate, making it frustrating for passengers who aren't interested. Btw, this was my local airport for 16 years, and I worked there for 12 of those years.
