The BK9 is better than the Big Brother for bushcraft purposes. However, Big Brother is better than BK( for hunting and killing purposes. Big Brother is a slasher and a great fighting knife. It is an extremely good tool used to kill the enemy.

You’re not wrong on the tang but the big bro is a fighting/ utility knife the standard ka-bar is a utility/ fighting knife. A regular Kb is a really good fighter but an ousting general use utility knife and ok survival knife. A Becker is an outstanding survival great utility knife and decent fighter. A BB is an amazing fighter good utility and decent survival. It all depends on what you need standard soldier standard ka-bar it’ll do everything you need. Survivalist becker it is a beast and won’t breakdown but still a big knife for defense. SF or just just want a fighting knife the BB is a great choice it will get sharp, go deep and leave a wide hole.

Yes: well spoken, I have the standard USMC; or 7" model. The big brother to me, seems unwieldy; perhaps kinda clumsy: the standard model or even the "short" Ka Bar feels more nimble and quicker. That to me, is what's more important: sure the big brother looks maybe more intimidating; but speed kills. Great video bro. 🔪
