Awesome review and well done. Bevan some tasteful modifications done on your Honda accord. 👌Those wheels with the isc coil overs is beautiful.

The 2006 accord is the best looking accord out of all the other earlier models in my opinion. I’m picking one up next week sometime that is one of only a 1000 that we’re imported to Australia that came factory fitted with a 5 speed manual. It has racing coil over suspension,flash tune,100mm carbon fibre air intake,twin sports performance exhaust system into custom headers. 200 plus horsepower,registered with a RWC for $5500.00. Has 250,000 kilometres on the odometer which is fair for a 17 year old car. Next week can’t come quick enough. Luxury car with performance = loads of fun. It will be a project car for me as I have retired at 55 and I have big plans for this car.

Beast!!! I have Honda Accord, i just bought it couple months ago, and i got in love with Honda Accord!!! Mine is diesel,2.2 ictdi. First time i bought diesel car!!! But i realized, specially watching this video, that is just question of time when i will buy 2.4 Type S!!! There’s one at the moment here where i live, and it’s perfect!!! With low mileage, looks amazing!!! Unfortunately for me, i don’t work quite some time now… But soonest i start to earning money i will buy one!!! I just hope to find same one, cause is rear!!! This one costs 6000€, well the other, which i like less is much much more expensive

speechless Bevan 💯👌 im 35 from NZ always loved genuine honda induction 1st started at age 15 me and my best m8 had a ef9 d13b man she was loud and cud fly 😁 then i herd the b16a2 intake and got instant stiffys hahaha. i now drive a accord k24a2 also but 05 and there is alot of power being held back hence tons of unopened eng mods minus cams and big intake but power figures about 250+ hp trq is 220+ ft lb still sequential 🤣 but man she shifts good kseries goodies are really expensive here and poa mad love and respect if you ever come to nz brother let us know be honoured to take it for a rip oh and i forgot to mention shes fully gutted inside 😏 =Fuel cost related issues 😅 keep up the goodwork mate Kseries+Theworld! 💙

I saw brilliant article of this CL9 Honda ACCORD TYPE S. This car is much better quality of body rigidity and handling car than Audi S4 and Volvo S60R on Autocar magazine in around 2004.

Thanks Bro, appreciate it. I started with the Hondata only and slowly worked my way up. In 2015 there weren't many options so I felt tuning was key as that was the greatest restriction. Thereafter I went DIC Cams and 50Deg VTC. And tried various intake manifolds, Cold Air Inductions, Throttlebodies, headers and exhausts. The setup I have now is the best combo for a bone stock motor and am very happy with the results.

Agreed, DC5 is not available in our market so we make do with what we have, costs an arm and a leg to import parts in general, but.... for the love of Honda hey :-).

This is an OEM spec wheel that comes off a Honda Type R FN2 Mugen Addition so standard fitment. No scraping, OEM fit. Thanks for the compliment

Hi Great car had a 2.4 type s myself a few years back. I Have just purchased a euro r cl7 in December. A lone question I have just bought a set of those alloys and just wondered if they just fitted straight on. Also what size break discs u put on the front(300mm)

Hey John, thanks for the compliment firstly. If the alloys are 5/114 and the OEM offset they should fit. These are OEM Mugen Type R forged wheels so they were a straight fit. Discs are OEM replacement by EBC. Big brake kits require alot of modification and can be costly and in some cases overkill. This setup does extremely well and is ample.

There are 2 Hondata Dealers in SA, but you can bring these in yourself as well if you are willing to import.

Could have done a 06+civic Si lsd, I did that on my 06 Type-S back in the day and worked perfectly.

@@bevanabrahams6065 Didn't track mine either but the lsd made it noticably better. But the best mods in my opinion were a thicker rear sway bar, Hondata flash and the 06+si gears+final drive(stock gearing absolutely horrendeous, especially 1,2gears.)

Sorry for the late response, you can actually fit a decent used FN2 Type R RSP oil pump or just go for a new RRC from the FD2 Type R Oil pump with the delete kit. These are easily available online.

I'm looking at purchasing the same coilovers and I would love to hear the owners thoughts on the ISC coilovers.

Have them for 6 years now. Excellent ride quality in general. Has 32 way dampening adjustment as well. Handles well laden and fully laden and sits nicely in the bends. Great product indeed, absolutely happy and no issues.

100% correct, TSX A21 Manual ECU which preserves the reverse lockout. Most of the guys opt for the Auto A71 ECU instead as it is more cost effective and you really have to be an idiot to engage reverse gear shifting from 5th to 6th.

TSX ECU is required and Hondata Flashpro. You can import both. The current intake is from the FD2 Type R code RRC

how bad is the mpg now? as it's a daily, maybe low boost turbo is better than cams for fuel but not for reliability?

Car is actually very economical, comes down to driving style. I will say this though, with all the extra power, the engine works less so if you light on the throttle and drive conservatively it is actually more economical than when it was stock. Best i have seen on the long road was 6.1L/100km

@@benjaminwingchun9665 That is the beauty about Vtec/Lift/VTC, those factors allow for perfect economy on low cam and performance on high cam so even though this is an NA car you have the best of both worlds. Power delivery is linear of course whereas with Turbo its a hit and miss.

Try holding the micrphone a little further away next time... or reduce the gain. Just a tip... Nice video though. Can't wait to do all these mods to my CM2 too. It's a bit heavier, but it offers so much more utility for a daily.
