Pierre, I think you’re going to really enjoy the whole album. 1 to 3 has moved up into my top 3 solo EXO albums. Suho bias wrecking is happening (maybe a bunny will join the penguin, haha). Suho actually announced he is doing concerts in Sept in Europe, including 2 in Germany. The band in Cheese and this one are his band. They have performed festivals and now doing concerts! The bass player composed 1 to 3. The Suho Band (what the group of musicians is called) was put together by Suho for his last album through Instagram! 1 to 3 lyrics seems very personal to Suho’s solo work. He mentioned in his comeback live that this Britpop rock sound is what he has wanted to do, but didn’t think the fans would go with it. So he has built his solo work to transition to this.

I will definitely get to his albums soon... I need to find the time for it and I have to be in the right mindset to sit for an hour recording ... but I will soon...

Suho's bassist actually participated in writing this song, so that explains why the bass part is so interesting! I think you'll enjoy the whole mini-album! It's very cohesive and I actually started to appreciate Cheese a lot more as part of the album than as a single. But the b-sides are so interesting, they seem to capture different stages of early rock.

I just know you're going to enjoy his solo work!!! Suho has that Rockstar energy 🤭

Nostalgic moment for me since I was wrapped around the music of British pop during my teenage years in the late 80s and early 90s. This album especially this song 1 to 3 with that bass line made my inner soul jump with joy and excitement!! I think you’d love his Grey suit album especially the first song Morning Star!!

our suho is someone who doesn't want much highlight when he is with members... but when he do solos he stands out... like we can see how much of a great vocalist he is.... i just love his previous albums like you should check out his self portrait and grey suit whole album.... he is amazing in every aspect. ✨

I was actually fortunate enough to hear all the tracks of "1 to 3" performed live at his Su:Home Concert in Seoul last week before the album dropped. That concert was basically a rock concert and not a typical kpop concert! As a rock fan, I live for that! The live arrangement were amazing and Suho Band (his solo band members) did great as well. I LOVE every song in the whole album the moment he debuted them on that stage. I'm so glad Suho has embraced the rock side of himself. I loved all 3 of his solo albums so far. All are so very different from each other yet all represent him as an artist so well! I hope you enjoy the rest of the album as much as I do. So far my top favorites are Zero Gravity, Wishful Thinking, and Moonlight. However, 1 to 3, Alright! Alright!, Mayday, and Cheese are great songs too! Now I'm just waiting for him to come to the States on tour because I need to see him perform the songs live again and this time get to sing along/fan chant with him since we know the new songs now.

Oh we know. He's going on tour throughout this year and we have got a glimpse of what its gonna be like from his concert in Seoul. And its lots of fun omggg Suho is not playing 😭

He participated in writing all the lyrics which reflect his philosophy of life that he wanted to share. In this song he talks about his journey through his teens, twenties, and the start of his thirties. The Korean title is '(dot, line, plane),' a metaphor for his life over the past 30 years and the 3 decades of his life. He wants to say is growing and expanding his life from a dot to a line to a plane, creating his own world. He wanted to convey this message that 'It's never too late to be whoever you want to be.'

this is officially my favorite Junmy album. it's upbeat, it's fun and it's bold. I remember how he released Hurdle and said that he really wanted to make it his title song but was cautious that fans might not like it. And this time he just did what he wanted. Though first line in 1to3 "I'm sorry for my Mama" is him apologizing to EXO's MAMA for choosing this style for his solo work 😂 he's going on Asia and Europe tour with his band soon. I'm sure when you listen this album AND his two previous albums you will find how amazing is SUHO as an artist; personally the first one SELF PORTRAIT is perfect. He is able to reinvent himself in every album. He loves brit rock and this mix between guitar and drums is so mesmerizing for me. He learned to play guitar during his military service and subsequent months and in his recent fanmeeting he showed us his skills, it was spectacular with his band playing live

Él realmente merece muchísimo más reconocimiento y la verdad es que el genero que escogió no es común en el Kpop pero es la música que a él le encanta hacer y le hace feliz y yo como amante del rock y de la buena música no puedo estar más que feliz con este álbum, es mi favorito hasta ahora y espero que también se convierta en el tuyo! 🙂

Hello, Pierre. I think we have very similar tastes, my favs are Kyungsoo, Chanyeoo and Chen, in that order. But, I highly recommend Suho, I think he has a brit rock pop style that you would like. Since the album Gray Suit he has performed songs that go in that direction, especially, I like Morning Star. On the current album, I think you would really like Zero Gravity or Mayday. I hope you can listen. It's always great to see your videos!!
