I LOVE the top! The colors look wonderful on you. Hey, just wanted to let you know, cutting paper with your rotary cutter or sewing scissors/shears will dull them incredibly fast. I would have separate scissors and rotary cutters for fabric.

I love your sewing room! You inspired me to get my thread colors in order! Are those actual fabric weights, or just big washers from the hardware store, that you lay down on your pattern, so you don't have to use pins? My mother had a fabric shop and custom sewing business, and we used bean bags for that...but I love yours and I want to get some. I love your fridge and kitchen, your neatness, and all 3 of you and your sisters!

I have been working from home since Covid hit. During the past 4 years I have transitioned my work station through 4 different rooms of my house. We have have been also doing extensive home renovations. I will soon be moving my workstation into a bedroom that will become my office. Ive never sewed. But im in need of learning, since inflation rate and my petite height, clothing is so hard to fit right. It is also more difficult to find 100% cotton fabric. Would you recommend a best video tutorial playlist for completely beginners?

I have the same set of green Pyrex bowls as you and want to warn you never to put them in the dishwasher, it fades and puts a white haze on the bowls. My husband put mine in the dishwasher without me knowing. I never put any of my colored Pyrex in the dishwasher.
