that, i also have to say that ,well done it´s a long way but the only to be recognized world wide , not only expect that someone will talk about your work and then maybe , but show yourself to be known ,this refering to your work on old BMW´s being south africa a place where BMWs are still a well respected brand , not only new cars but classic ones that were forgoten like in the 90´s german kids would gather around my car a BMW2002 but this from 71 all original ,didn´t had yet headrests in the front seats and all metal inside was chromed like in the side of the seats ,instead of cheap black aluminium with texture, they would ask me if it was really a BMW ,maybe the reason why 20 years later i sold my 74 BMW 2002Tii for 50.000€ ,cost me less than today´s 400€ working and looking new with only parts that were original in the car, at the time no one knew how to restore the injection system in the Tii ,so they were cheap ,but almost free cheap ,they were stoped in garages, the 4 barrel carburator were more looked for ,any mechanic could fix the 4Xcarburator, and lot´s of 1502 ,1602, 1802 and some 2002 all with missing bits and normally without silencer on the exaust just young kids with drivers permit would buy them cheap(no car inspection till late 90´s) ,there were many in my country because BMW had a factory till 74 in Portyugal so it was one of the most seen cars along with FIAts 124 ,131,127, 128 and 132 also lot´s of citroens dyane, 2CV , GS, BX, CX, and some DS´s 19 to 22 and renault 4, 5, 16, peugeots 204 ,304, 404, 504, and lot´s of mercedes W115 or older, this were the main cars driven till the end of the 90´s along with some new models

yes a lot of people don´t know but the two models showed it misses a model inbetween the two ,that i have one and only saw two others in all my life and it was given to me by the owner of a garage where there were parked old Rolls Royce ,Bentleys ,Aston Martin´s and old Jaguars and the huge but large and low also long 645i from 76 ,i spent a lot of money in gasoline to drive it home 200kms far away, it´s showed the first model from 1970 with the 80´s model and the mid 70´s model or second half of the 70´s model it´s missing , this one from the 80´s was a car to try to win the better coupé car from the 80´s against the 500SEC from Mercedes, most of BMW´s models that were still being sold in early 80´s had been released in 74 or earlier, like the 520 (74) theb 523i (76) and the 535i (81) also the 524tds(diesel engine, turbo),later they released a new body that it was the 525TDS still in the 80´s. Now old cars are being sold by a fortune, in the 90´s or late 80´s people wouldn´t know what to do with this old and high gasoline comsumption cars, sold very cheap or ofered , my 74 2800csi coupé i went to see him in a village near by my hometown in a big house ,kind of a palace of a grandfather of a friend of mine that knew i liked old cars , i went there with a complete restored 2002 from 74 ,it looked all original and like if it was taken from a dealer ,everything there was what the car had when released ,he asked me for less than what today is 750€ ,i didn´t had room to store it so i kind of said that i didn´t want it because of what i just written but the old man said: - It´s here for a lot of years this is a very good BMW but my grandsons say they don´t want old cars so it´s here but if you find a place to store it, i will give it to you; this after seeing on the street my looking new BMW 2002 from 74, that´s what i did ,i sold a mercedes from the 60´s kind of what in 68 was substituted by the W114/8, so i went there and the old man gave it to me,this looking new and working perfect
