That's correct. The real sunnah is that of all the prophets from Adam to Abraham to Musa, Isa and Muhammad- which is simply wisdom, justice, forgiveness, firmness, generosity and understanding that we are one in Allah. That's the tradition. None of the other practices are nearly as important.

There are dozens of Islamic flags of nations from Iraq, Egypt, Morrocco etc., that embrace nationalism and no one would question whether they are muslim or islamic countries. It is narrated by Abu Da'wud that the Messenger of Allah (saaw) said, "He is not one us who calls for `Asabiyyah, (nationalism/tribalism) or who fights for `Asabiyyah or who dies for `Asabiyyah." You are talking about 'asabiyyah' [tribalism], which some modern scholars translate as nationalism. But that's not what asabiyyah actually means. Literally, it simply means 'spirit of kinship', social cohesion' or 'group consciousness'. Salafi radicals try to say that any asabiyyah is evil. According to your beloved hadith, Muhammad (pbuh) clarified : He was asked: "Is it (asabiyyah) tribalism for a man to love his people?, and he said: ''No, tribalism is to support your people in an injust cause." 1. He acknowledged that there are identifiable tribes(nations) and families. 2. He did not say to disband them. 3. Islam equals justice and he simply said do not prefer your people over the cause of justice or the cause of Allah if such a circumstance requires a choice.

I’ve listened to this entire lecture. I question the spirit or thinking that could listen to it and come out with negativity. Only falsehood, or the spirit thereof, could hear this entire teaching then think division or divisiveness instead of multiplication and addition.

Elijah did not even know Islam , what are you talking about ? He called himself as the messenger of God. Do you know in a Muslim country that if he would say that that would be considered as blasphemy and punishable with decapitation? Muslims consider prophet Mohammad the last messenger of God and anyone who claims to be a messenger is considered either a non Muslim (Qadiani) and if he insists to be called Muslim he is lynchrd to death or decapitated. Check out blasphemy laws in Muslim countries and what they think of qadianis. Back in Malcolm days there was no internet so I guess it was easy to make up things and pretend to know what Islam teaches

Elijah denied he had more than one wife. Then after he died Farrakhan introduces the same women Elijah impregnated on stage. Either Elijah was lying then or FarraCON is lying now. You can not have it both ways.

This was when Malcolm X was decieved by his own. God bless his soul. He freed himself in the end when he broke away from the NOI.

There is a channel here on youtube called "The Elijah Muhammad" and there are speeches that Elijah made with his own voice not claiming any of those women who now have grown children from him. (Astagfirullah) In Muhammad Speaks back then he labeled them as prostitutes.Like Malcolm said how can we offer the people a clean glass of water when our's is dirty? Meaning, how can we claim righteousness but not living it? Indeed Elijah gave him the tools but can you imagine the disappointment Malcolm felt, he loved this man and too see him messing with young woman making illegitimate children then exiling and denying them.
