I purchased a few pieces of jewelry from this man and his wife in their shop without knowing who he was, and initially I thought he may have sold me fake amber. What an idiot I was...

Unrelated, but at 5:15 is he wearing an Omega Seamaster Chronograph?
Thanks for this post, only found today (06/05/22), I love amber. For all who talk about blue amber - the blue is only to see under special light. I have a tiny piece of blue amber (pendant) and there is no blue with the naked eye to see. It's also the most expensive. Baltic amber is easy affordable (of course there are expensive ones out there) and therefore less chance for fakes (not worth it). There are two countries wo do fake amber, easy to see, as it is very brightly coloured without any warmth, encased in fake silver and the inclusions are very symmetric. Bugs encased in that resin or plastic are "modern" bugs and e. g. full sized scorpions, dragonflies etc., please do not buy these wares for environmental and cruelty against animals reasons. As a lover of dragonflies I hate the idea to kill those animals by pouring some fluid over them until they are dead. Some are already rare. And they do an important job.

Simply submerging in water. Amber tends to float in water.
Ya entendió el negocio redondo, que triste
Que triste pesar que solo el ámbar de Europa es auténtico
04:12 Guy is starting to pee, then cutaway...
Sólo un carbono 14 puede determinar la edad del ambar
i have 42kg baltic aber for sale
The Amber have 60,000,000 millions of years and the best is from Dominican republic, in the Caribbean island, because you can find it in Yellow, Orange, red, Green, Blue and purple.

The first part of this sentence is false.
Baltic Amber is named after the Baltic Sea and The Baltic Race People after which the sea in named, the people that inhabited this area, the people that are mostly died out now thanks to all the Slavic race people, poles including. Poles like to work and they’re outstanding workers, and this is a good presentation but to imply that one city in Poland is “the source” of BALTIC Amber is treacherous! You’re not even Baltic, dude. To me as an ethnic, Baltic Latvian survivor this rubs off the wrong way. You should say “his is where this company’s Amber comes from” or something. But hey, marketing is marketing and may you live happily ever after with your polish marketing xoxo

As a Lithuanian I also became suspicious of this documentary as soon as it started... it misses so much information about real Baltic amber...
Haha, you say that Poland was glad to break free of communists, and then just the next sentence you say Gdansk started to be carefully rebuilt after WWII. Wasn't it under communists?)))
