@@IamCamJones That is a tough question. I am a huge fan of You're Gonna Make Me.....and Who Can I Run To but I Just Love the Man seems to capture a very sweet dynamic between three sisters with the talking part and the thrilling vocal performances. I'm a sucker for great r&b music with spoken word sections. Think of Angel by Aretha Franklin with the intro about talking to her sister or those Millie Jackson records where it's like she's in the room with you. Check out the five minute video for Maybe by the Three Degrees. Half of the song is the lead singer telling a story.

Thank you King and likewise 🙏🏿
RIP Valerie and Brenda. I just read the following “....in 2001 Valorie Jones died at the age of 45 due to complications related to alcoholism and then in 2017 Brenda Jones was tragically killed at the age of 62 in an automobile accident.”

It’s so sad that Valerie and Brenda Jones passed away but we have to be careful with the media who’s job to make money by meddling into people’s business immorally as well as disrespectfully.

@@kwameaboagye121 Looking back, and having read your comment, I feel I probably made a mistake copying from the media verbatim. Maybe I should’ve just said they met untimely deaths or both died at relatively young ages.
The 70s was all that Jazz❤❤❤❤❤❤
They are absolutely gorgeous!!!❤ Watching videos like this further makes me believe I was born during the wrong time. 1977...too late in the decade. I should've been rocking bell bottoms, platforms & my fro.
This is soooooooo AWESOME! The Jones Girls, master vocalists...PERIOD!!!!

I've been combing the internet too! I am so SAD about the limited information/interviews/live performances available when it comes to The Jones Girls and the internet. It's disgusting. But, I am very grateful to listen to the interviews Ms Shirley Jones is providing quite frequently. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽❤❤
Reaching out to my friend Shirley, You are an Awesomely Talented Woman. Just as powerful today, as you were then! Much Love Sis. Florida in the House!
One of my favorite groups. ❤️ It’s the voices and beauty for me.

Great Performance and beautiful Ladies!
My absolute 💯 favorite, I went crazy over this song when I heard it in high-school, OMG!!
Thank you so much for sharing your mom and your aunts with us. Their lives and careers have had an impact that they couldn't even begin to perceive or foresee. Their influence has been felt very far afield

THIS IS AMAZING!!!
Thanks for finally helping the Jones Girls get some love on youtube.
OMG! They were so gorgeous. I vaguely remember this song as a little girl being played on the radio but I don't remember ever seeing them on TV.
The Jones girls and The Emotions. No girl groups deliver complete Harmony- complete! Not En Vogue, Not Swv, not Destiny's child. No one. All them other groups, those girls just sang together. Jones Girls and the emotions hit perfect high notes. Facts.
Great song. Love the way their voices blend together so perfectly.
I haven’t heard this song in 30 years! Even as a child, I loved it. Now that I’m “much”older, I really understand it! 🥰 These ladies “sang” that song! I care what you say!!😅
Love the Jones Girls ,,, great vocal skills ..... real music ...... RIP Brenda and Valerie ×*##*×*##×*

Thanks for posting this. Your mom and aunts were extraordinarily talented gifted singers. One of the very best vocal trios in music history. I will never forget the first time I heard You're Gonna Make Me Love Somebody Else. I had to get the album that day. I wore it out that summer. This music has really stood the test of time!

@@scottboggs8312 Aww man, it’s SO hard to name just one because their all so beautiful! Lol but If I have to say just one, I’ll go with Nights Over Egypt. For my generation, that’s the one we are most familiar with. Plus the magic of that record is just totally unmatched in my opinion, it crosses R&B and jazz so perfectly and it is very tranquil. But again, I love them ALL I’ve become such a fan it’s SO hard to name just one haha. May I return the question and ask what’s your favorite?

@@IamCamJones That is a tough question. I am a huge fan of You're Gonna Make Me.....and Who Can I Run To but I Just Love the Man seems to capture a very sweet dynamic between three sisters with the talking part and the thrilling vocal performances. I'm a sucker for great r&b music with spoken word sections. Think of Angel by Aretha Franklin with the intro about talking to her sister or those Millie Jackson records where it's like she's in the room with you. Check out the five minute video for Maybe by the Three Degrees. Half of the song is the lead singer telling a story.

@@scottboggs8312 I will definitely be checking out The Three Degrees I love them as well, and that’s a great top 3! Keeping the legacy going in more ways than one! 🙏🏿💯
