I saw Joe Jackson in NYC about 20 years ago. I was with someone who knew someone and we ended up in a small bar after the show with Joe Jackson and a few others. The place wasn’t crowded; Joe was friendly, easy to approach and we had a decent conversation. He listened to whoever he was speaking with and just hung out until we left. A great guy!

If the Bar was in Soho, we might have crossed paths! I was in town for the New Music Seminar and I was in SoHo tripping on LSD and Joe Jackson walked by me and into a very small Bar. Too High to say Hi.

It’s wonderful to see some appreciation for Graham Maby’s bass playing. The guy was perfect for this band and on Joe’s first couple of albums. Read an interview where he said fans ask why he played differently on Joe’s later material and on other projects. Guess they don’t realize that a melodic and punchy style doesn’t work for all genres.

19 marzo 2019, finalmente ho visto Joe (era il suo onomastico) in concerto a Roma, a 300 metri da San Pietro. Ancora un grande! Love you Joe

I'm here because the song was mentioned in the Bentley Little book, "The Haunting." (Library copy) How amazing is it that we can listen to a song immediately?

Gary Sanford on guitar never impressed me. Solid, basic, OK, but nothing exciting to add. But tight for sure.

Still procesing I've discovered this song through Thom Yorke and Johnny Grenwood (The Smile). Got me hooked by the sound and all. It's the type of melody and vibe nobody does anymore. Capsule time!

Dynamite video...thanks for posting. 1980...the year I graduated High School, and everyone was listening to Joe Jackson. Look Sharp and I'm the Man hit us all like a ton of bricks. Joe is doing his angry young man bit here, and believe me, in 1980, as today, we just love(d) it.
