As someone who was there for 90s - current rap. It’s very hard to beat 90s bc the competition was too high. If you take out the top 5 niggas from the 90s as an era it’s still competitive with other eras imo. 2010s is least competitive bc if you take out Kendrick, Cole and Drake they get washed by the other eras. It’s not that the left over artists are trash it’s just that they can’t compete anymore without those top guys
