    The past bull run did incentivize more companies to act in an inefficient manner and some startups raised lots of money in hopes of growing recklessly which did create some job demand for engineers. But due to the downmarket and the money drying up as well as the reality kicking back in, the job market is going to get much more difficult at least for the short term.

    USA job market is absolutely dead for techs and for others too as of 2024 January, 2 trillion dollars has been spent to foreign countries 😂

    Yes, it's part of the American English language where college students can be called "kids". Another example: people will say "they're just kids being sent off to war" when reality they're over the age of 18.

    Exactly! There are tons of jobs like bus driver, fry cook, janitor, etc.. They need to stop complaining and be thankful there are so many sh** jobs out there for them.

    @@bytemuncher1 But do they, the job positions pay the rent and bills and quality groceries that they can live on? Also, saving for retirements and vacation once in a while after hard work?
