I'm 62 and love them. Saw them live in Hamburg end December '21 when they did the entire Darklands album and then a selection of other songs afterwards. Amazing night.

The Mary chain ,The Smiths, The Bunnymen, my three fave bands of the 80's (and probably all time) was lucky enough to see all three live back then, All great live even if the mary chain was chaotic. Years later listening to them got me into Mazzy star ( another cool band). 30+ years later and still listening.

This song is beyond perfect.. a Masterpiece

Reminds me of one of my favorite times of year, the middle of spring. It's not too hot or too cold (sweater weather, in other words), perfect amount of daylight, and you really start to see life coming back. It's beautiful.

Psychocandy, Darklands and Automatic are godly. Each their own style but distinctly Mary Chain.

This band deserves to be respected as one of the 80's iconic bands but rarely seem to get mentioned with all the big favourites -- OMD, CURE, SMITHS, DEP MODE, CLASH etc.

I loved freaking my classmates out with this music! While they were listening to shitty pop music, I was listening to these gems!!!!

Back in the 80s my best friend and I worked all over the country floor laying and we used to have this song cued up on the cassette to play as loud as we could as we swerved away from work on the Friday afternoons...it was always the first song we played! Was the best song ever to play, loud as hell as we were heading home for a weekend of drinking and shagging. Just listening to it again brings it all back! Brilliant song!

Nah, their Velvet Underground fixation was perceived as original to the post punk generation. A truly awful band that still can't play in tune. After 30 plus years still waiting for the men to come up with an original idea. Truly banal.

My hometown band, can be a bleak and desolate place, but so glad that East Kilbride gifted them to the music world

I was born in 77, and I guess I missed this band when they were big, but I'm glad I'm getting into them now thanks to Mani. Heard on the radio that Mani would've loved to have joined this band if he hadn't joined Primal Scream... And now I can see why. Really love their sound. They should play more JAMC ON the radio.

I wish I had heard these guys back in the 80s, when they were current. I only learned about them in 2005, on VH1 Classics, when I was setting up my channel on KZread and Delphi Forums (those were the days!). I am glad this song was played on the Walking Dead. Awesome music the present generation shouldn't miss out on.

One of best songs I've heard.

one of my favourite songs of all time, absolutely beautiful and stunning. it brings back some strong memories

The best music ever, Jesus and Mary chain, Omd, The waterboys, The stranglers, Big Country, The lightning seeds.....awsome and still great to this day.

The lead guitar sound is truly epic. It's been in my mind since I first heard it. It will never leave me. I know it may sound daft to some but because I've never seen this video before, I always pictured two singers in this group. One called Jesus Chain on lead vocals and the other, maybe his sister Mary Chain on backing vocals. That all changed when I saw the video for the first time.

What a superb Band.... And its April... I love this song ❤️

This is one of those songs that I’ve marveled at for 30 plus years. Perfectly crafted

Counting the days now. Seeing them on Sunday! And learning new songs too thanks to JAMC management for sending me the CD of Damage and Joy. I love it.

They 've always had a HUGE fanbase in Greece, from the very beginning! That fanbase is ever growing, to the day! They also played live numerous times here! It 's music we Greeks can relate to, absolutely! Same with the harder "Psychocandy" type stuff! Greetings and a lot of love from Greece, may God bless All!

With The Jesus And Mary Chain it takes a few listens but in the end it becomes totally worth it, this is an amazing song! From lyrics, to chords to every minute detail in harmony, perfection.
