Jeep pulled out all the stops on their latest concept vehicle, building the ultimate Jeep Grand Wagoneer overland platform, complete with 35 inch tires, revised fender flares, high clearance bumpers, retro interior, and a full interior living space. The cherry on top is the premium Retail Overland carbon fiber roof top tent with hard sides and large rigid windows. As with most Jeep creations, this show vehicle also works offroad, with a center and rear locking differential, multi-height airbag suspension, and BFGoodrich Mud Terrains.

I’m in the market for a family friendly suv with some off-road capabilities. Hadn’t paid much attention to the Grand Wagoneer until this review. May have to take a closer look. Thanks!

AntiShanty makes a hard sided RTT for 1/3 of the price.
A really sweet vehicle execution! Would be nice to see that come to production along with a more overland-friendly version of the Grand Cherokee, with the accommodation of larger tires with the air suspension, or the option of non-air suspension with the 4-low transfer case.
Who’d be crying with the first pinstripes, bumper scrape or rock rail dent? This gal. Too nice for trail, first world problems.

"Too nice for the trail" is entirely dependent on the competence of the driver and their ability to afford repairing it should something go wrong. :)
does it have a low gear transfer case?

I'm not sure on the Grand, but the Wagoneer with the "advanced all terrain group" gives you a selectable 2 speed transfer case, skid plates, air suspension, 18" wheels and 3.92 rear end

That must be like... a 281 RTI.
This is fantastic! I have been asking for a Grand Cherokee on overland steroids because I want a smaller vehicle to do fire road and narrow trails. The lockers are a must. Like the concept, love that roof top tent. Now if it can only come in at an affordable price. ????

the rooftop skyloft isnt "on the market" at all. they dont sell it separately from their sprinter van .

Wow, flex like a current Rav4: None. Yup, appears to be a Jeep air system. I really does look a lot better though. The Grand Wag is NOT an attractive vehicle normally.
Still a jeep. Very unreliable
