I think the audience here tends to be more of the higher end collector/user though too. More midtech and up I’m guessing. So we don’t care what others spend their own hard earned money on. Nor how much of it. To each their own 🤷🏻‍♂️.

Nope, I don’t have a weight problem thankfully. It’s just cringey, men wearing women’s pants. Just as cringey as manbuns. Doesn’t mean I hate them for it, it’s just off-putting. And IPAs taste terrible. But then again, they’re made for people who don’t like a real beer (if you can see through the beer, it’s weak crap). 🤷‍♂️

I started with The Barns, then The Kline, The Carter and The Carter XL. I wanted a Chapter but glad I waited and purchased The Chapter 2 May the 4th. Al's waiting for the plain TI Wells to arrive. If you are into knives and you've already arguably paid too much for a knife. See Shirogorov, Benchmade, and some Spyderco... Drunken. In the case of The James Brand and some other brands I don't feel that way as thier knives are that great! As for the image of The James Brand I think it's great. Sure it appeals to hipsters bit it also appeals to me... mid 50's guitar slinging, lo g haired, Dad Rocker! Don't wine because you can't afford one it just makes you appear pathetic. Don't call out The James Brand if you have a collection of Benchmades. I don't have an issue with the other brands I mentioned I own premium knives by them I'm just tired of all the bullshit from the knife community about the James Brand. I've been collecting knives since the 80's and have handled hundreds of knives. The James Brand is kicking serious ass and makes well thought out products that are actually very useful and a pleasure to own and use.

I’m right there with ya. The brand image appeals to me, but more importantly, the knife designs appeal to me. And the quality has been there to back it up.

Love the Barnes, and I don't consider the price to be excessive. Pretty much everything else I've seen from them, including this knife here, is overpriced.

maybe it's just me, but i wish it had more character like the @avianknives topaza. ✌
