This was a great exhibition. I went with two fellow Jam fans. I was so nostalgic and struck up many conversations with load of people of my age. I was a teenager again for couple of hours. You could hear everybody telling everybody else that vital information that only they thought they knew then bam there it was. e.g. the Ibanez badge replaced by a Rickenbacker badge on the bass.

Really starting to HATE youtube. So many fu**ing adverts. Spend some of the income on the subtitles. Try a spellcheck and a hearing test for the person/machine "doing" the subtitles. Just to be clear-I will NEVER pay subscriptions to use youtube. But near constant adverts will see me going elsewhere for entertainment.

The Jam, though mighty, showed only one side of Paul, who evidently isn't a one-trick pony. Hate all you want, but he had the vision to walk away at the peak rather than dragging on and tarnishing that legacy. Despise all you want, The Style Council was the outlet that manifested the breadth and depth of Paul's gift. The black soul in this white boy just had to be liberated and the results spoke for themselves. To this day, I maintain that Confessions of a Pop Group is his best work up to that time.
