My condolences to you! And Family/ Friends! God is my sole Validation/ Vindicator of my life!! I learned to always keep him first! When people walk away and leave you! My God is always there with open arms! You know he can bless you through different People, Places, and Things! Limitless he is and Omnipresent.

Some years ago I was driving 3 of my aunts to a funeral. I had some cassettes of gospel music. I inserted one and it was, "I Can't Make by Myself ". Everyone got quite and began to sniffle and then I looked around and saw them wiping tears. I didn't say anything but each time I this song, I think of them and their reactions.

My Grandmother used to play this song before she passed. My mother and Father still play this as well. Can't help but literally cry when I hear this. I don't know what it is, but everytime I hear it, my heart just gets this feeling and I just cry... I can't make it without God... I will always need him. If I don't got God... then I won't ever be good. 💕

This song brings back memories of when I was so depressed I didn't even have the energy to pray. I felt there was no point I was a waste and I just wanted to not exist anymore. I remember sitting on a park bench with tears falling down my face uncontrollably feeling hopeless. Then I recalled a minister saying sometimes you just have to say "I need your help". I remember using the little faith that I had left to utter those words in my head. Within minutes that spirit of depression was taken away. That's why when I heard this song and he says I don't have nobody else and I can't make it by myself the tears came streaming down my face again recalling that moment. I would've been dead a long time ago if it was up to me BUT GOD. Thanks for sharing this history.

My mother used to listen to this song when I was small. Than when she got alzheimers I played it for her and she remembered it. She passed Jan 8 2020 I'm so hurt I miss her so badly but the music she played and listened to just hit my soul LORD I CANT MAKE IT BY MYSELF.

The Jackson Southernaires are an annointed group and so are the brothers Williams got me through all my life I've been to shows all over the country. Bell my mother passed on mother's day 2021.. A lot of times even now I feel like I dnt have nobody else but then I realized that I still have Jesus.. All others are there for a little while but God is there all the time... Im glad I rededicated my life bck in sept 2017... Cause I realized I can't make it by myself.. Love ones let me dwn. But its alright.. Jesus always pick me bck up.. Its ok to cry.. Those that mourn shall reap in joy..

You know a lot has changed!! But it really hasn’t in the South , Blacks with the education background are not getting the proper salary!!! Oh there Not A lot of affordable housing that people live in and can afford and live clean!!! There’s so many areas of Columbia people are living in squalor!!!
