Jackie Stiles is the greatest basketball player you've never heard of. This is the story of a 5’8” girl from a small Kansas town, population 600, who became a basketball legend in the Midwest. Against all odds, Jackie became the all-time leading scorer in NCAA history, a record she held for 16 years. This feat was accomplished through hard work and unwavering determination. Her coaches and teammates agree that Jackie’s work ethic will probably never be matched.

I lived in Spfd during her time at SMS, and i'm here to tell ya,,, the girl was for REALZ... She just made things happen, and was a winner from the word go. She lit that arena up in ways it had never seen. The entire town was ON FIRE for Jackie. And she was a total class act who ALWAYS made time to talk to and inspire young aspiring basketball fans. I have not seen this documentary yet, but I truly hope it captures ALL the great things she is and was. God Speed Jackie and THANK YOU for sharing your talents with Springfield. It was a magic time.
She does a zig zag jump stop move where she veers in one direction jumping over a defenders leg then lands and pushes off in the opposite direction avoiding a second taller defender to get the shot off, awesome body control high level moves for that era of women's basketball. She reached the highest levels, all time NCAA scorer, WNBA rookie of the year. It ultimately isn't how long your career is, its how good are your good moments. She danced her dance as best she could. Awesome it was like Jimmy Chitwood in "Hoosiers" movie, legendary.
I remember being such a huge fan of hers...
Another thing that might be mentioned in this is that she would play pickup games all the time with her then boyfriend against all guys. I had the privilege of guarding her in multiple pickup games while going to school there because no one else wanted to guard her, she is that good.
Her, Jimmer, Kelsey & Sabrina may be the best bucket getters I’ve seen play NCAA basketball
