Patron is actually the smallest Ukrainian soldier and he deserves a medal for his own bravery and heroic duties. But yet he's actually very cute little guy anyway. 👍💪🇺🇦🪖🐾✌️🎖️

I had a Jack Russell/Lab mix and she was very smart. My friends would always laugh at me cause I always talked to my Sassy girl but I didn't care cause she was smarter than any dog I've ever had. Now I have a Chocolate Lab/Australian Shephard mix and I've talked to her since day one, which made a huge difference in her learning process and training. She is my best buddy, especially during this Pandemic

Dogs are only as smart as their owners. I always talked to my dogs from day one also. People were amazed at what they understood when I talked to them. I had to put down my black lab after 16 years. I still miss him so much. Someone said he and I were kindred spirits. Dogs are basically smarter than people give them credit for. Have a great day and give your a pat on the head for me.

He deserves such high rating in social media.

Why would you try to pet a working dog that you don't know well from behind, then blame him for nipping at you. The reporter was the problem in that interaction. Not Patron.

Like they said, tiny is mighty. Jack Russel is a very smart dog. He almost got that reporter. His size is perfect for sniffing out land mines. Even if he steps on the land mine it won't blow up because he is very light. I don't know how much he weights though. I'm guessing 5 to 10 lbs.

Actually that was a very common practice developed by the Russia during WW2 by strapping a bomb to a dog and send them toward a German panzer to be remotely detonate.

My relatives had a jack russell named Tyson but they didn't care for him they keep him outside home during winter and rain . My parents sometimes give him dog food as I was a 8 year old boy I was allowed to give hike food for safety reasons. But one day my relative let him go outside house as he was a little bit aggressive and bitted my uncle . So the dog sleep outside in Neighbours home and had bitten some people which cause the society to give him food filled with poison. And he died I cried on his death as I was a child and whether he has bitten people but if my relatives have take care of him and gave him love what he needed he would be a nice dog .RIP tyson 💔

Jack Russell's can be snappy little blighters at the best of times, it's just their nature, don't worry newscaster he didn't actually bite you...😏 I really like that cute little vest that somebody made for him. Perhaps not the greatest of ideas to let him dig for pressure sensitive mines. But on the other hand if he gives much needed comfort to the kids in Ukraine it is a very positive thing indeed that he is a beloved mascot for his unit. 🌞👍
