Thank you for NOT interrupting this episode by throwing in any modern day(2020) “ads”.

Still funny today.
As if I didn't already think Natalie Wood was the sweetheart of the land, then I see her doing this dance bit and skit with "RJ." *swoon* Love her and may she R.I.P. Many thanks for sharing this.
Ha! I like the end statement of "This program was taped before a live audience with reaction technically augmented." For those who don't know, it means live audience with a bit of laugh track. Something that even George Burns liked to do for the "George Burns & Gracie Allen (Television) Show."
I have never seen this one! Thank you- it's wonderful!
Thanks. Loads of fun to watch.
I loved Natalie wood and it really bothered me when she died
RIP Jack Benny (1894-1974)
11:59- The "script girl" was Jack's script secretary in real life, Jeanette Eymann. She frequently appeared in bit parts, too.
Love kinnies of videotape made at Television City.... very distinctive.
This is funny as hell...Loved it!
As of today, Wednesday November 18, 2020, since you have NOT interrupted our viewing enjoyment of this episode with modern day “ads”, I gave a “thumbs up”.

West Side Story is always burned in my mind thanks to Natalie Wood.

So weird that Natalie and Robert Wagner Broke up just 15 months later after this show because she supposedly was having an affair with Warren Beatty while making Splendor In The Grass
This is one of the videotaped episodes that was NOT included in any syndicated/cable package of repeats (those were filmed).
❤️❤️❤️
Ironically, "PLAYHOUSE 90" was cancelled in May 1960, after a final series of "occasional" presentations that season.
All those Lucky Strike cigarette ads. Good Lord!

Lever Brothers became Jack's sponsor in the fall of 1959 {he appeared for Lux, George Gobel for Stripe, on the alternate weeks; in the fall of 1960, they continued to sponsor him on behalf of LIpton Tea, while State Farm Insurance became his new co-sponsor every other Sunday}.
FUNNY - “NOW YOU GET IT”

29:18- "'WHAT'S MY LINE?' is next, on the CBS TELEVISION NETWORK."
Loved Natalie but this Lux cleanser has me interested. Strange isn't it?

Before Lever Brothers introduced Dove dishwashing liquid a few years later, Lux (and Swan) were their "top of the line" dishwashing products. They were phased out by the 1970's.

Benny Rubin, a close friend of Jack's, who appeared frequently in small roles.
What's the deal with Benny kissing Natalie so much?
