One of our local Pastor's asked TD Jakes to come preach at the church. He announced to the church he was coming. The pastor was so excited he was going to come. Two weeks after he announced he was coming; he told the church he will not be coming b/c TD Jakes asked for $80K to come to the church and the pastor said, we're not paying anyone to come preach! TD Jakes is a hireling!

In regards to tithing yes we were manipulated, yet not mandated. There were many who had lack, but still gave out of guilt. I’m a former Elder, and paid employee. I did interviews as well from 1998-2012. He gave very good answers/example, and YES it’s a business.. Just an FYI I wrote a book about my experiences: You Don’t Know My Real Testimony. It can be found on Amazon. It has helped many understand. To this young man, I’m glad you’ve, as you’ve said, learned the truth. You must read for yourself.

Thank you for sharing this info my brother. TD Snakes real skin ( personality) is slowly being shed. I knew a family sincerely giving tithes to his church, and when the woman was trying to leave an abusive relationship, Snakes wouldn't lift a finger or meet with her to help her even though she cried out many times for help. She lived in her car with her babies because she didn't want her pre teen boys separated to the men's shelter. She ended up living in her car until she got on her feet. Thank God she saw him & his church for what they really were an illuminati money making scam church and not about winning souls for Christ . Thank God she left his church! However, Snakes has plenty of time to counsel with and meet with well known celebrities and athletes. Keep preaching my brother to help wake up his deceived and hellbound sheeple who are worshiping the man (Jake's) instead of Christ.

I lost respect after seeing T.D.Jakes on a TBN broadcast preaching and teaching prosperity gospel. "If you sew a uncommon seed of $1000, God will sew an uncommon blessing unto you." And he said God told him that there were 100 people in the audience that had the money together. He, Mike Murdock and others teach this shameful doctrine.

This brother is telling the truth. From 1998 to 2010 (12 years), I also was a member of the Potter's House Church. I thank God for allowing me to wake up to this truth, even though I became so hurt and disappointed with the church. Initially, I hoped that Bishop Jakes was just ignorant to this truth, and did not intentionally keep us in the dark (due to some type of majority acceptance).
