I don't understand cheating in any game. not even single player. a game is designed to be a challenge somehow and the fun comes from beating that challenge in my opinion. cheats destroy this part and so I don't get how you can still have fun if you do that ^^

I had a friend who does this stuff, living in his moms apartment at 26 and 0 social skills. Its their only safespace and when they lose at the game i think it hits alittle to close to home for them. So they cheat… u should really feel pity for these people. Getting a rise out of you is the only attention they get

From the nightvision, the awful waterfall geometry, to the fps drops, to the bugged AI, bugged organs, dilos still not on a deino's diet, and to finally top it all off a speed/stam hacking cheater on a test server. I mean, you can pay the devs yourself, add another few devs in their small team (and pay urself their salary ofc) and code the game yourself as well if you really want to lol I don't think we have the right to complain when the game barely costs 20€/USD once. Their team is small and they don't have that much funds to allow more people in... let's be reallistic and be glad of what they give with what they have and can do

The game still runs like hot ass, devs are still shitting on their community and they had to remake the game twice now. Name another game going through the same shit right now, I’ll gladly wait. Also, I don’t have knowledge of game development you’re so right about that BUT I know damn well what a functional dev team should look like and they have failed. I truly do love the isle since it’s been just been a huge part of what made me love dinosaurs but the wait for the game to get better is killing me and many others.

@@MrTickles445 it's not the devs fault that you (and many others) think a game develops out of nothing and can be easily made by a few people without bugs and setbacks. srsly, you mates have no idea what alpha means. you probably never followed an alpha through a whole development before and have expectations which are far beyond reality. you know damn well? you know nothing. as your comments show very well another game that went through this? well, I played more than 30 alpha games in my life. the isle is among one of my best alpha experiences. like ark was back in 2015 they are far from my worst experiences. like "day-z"! to name a terrible alpha experience which still became successful or "beasts of prey", also a terrible alpha experience which never got finished at all. now it's your turn. tell me an alpha without bugs, without setbacks and which got finished within 4 years. I am curious

The new plants on the rivers are so amazing! I love them, adds so much to the river and makes it feel more alive/real. It makes no sense why dilo wouldn't be on deino's diet, but maybe they just havn't gotten around to adding it?

yeah, I am totally fascinated how the few new plants transform many parts of the map somehow I understand them. they have thing sin mind like bug fixing, working on new abilities or dinos, fixing the map, the performance. kind of logical that deinos diet isn't up their list. that said, it should also be just a matter of minutes to change such a diet, so

Ugh its always the deinos who get speed hacks, such an unsatisfying ending Sad there was no ambushing, but even on a full 140 player server you cant get lucky lol Great video!

10:27 did u get the name of that cheater? I made it a habit to always hit F2 as soon as I see or hear players... and leave it for a minute or two before ending record. Even if you do not get the actual footage (was bugged/censored in hordetest the last time i checked), the names and IDs are still saved to investigate.

the bigger deino was always faster. it's about the stamina. I was full on stam and it sprinted in the water to me, so, it arrived with a disadvantage and normally bigger deinos had less stam than smaller ones. people told me they changed that tho. so, I don't know for sure tbh. but, I still can't imagine an adult deino having more stam than a juvie. would be a crazy change. anyway, I didn't have time by now to test that myself :/

@@da.mombie Yea the Deino you fought was in a prime growth then where its fast and got a good amount of stamina.

There was an update to hordetest in the last 24 hours that seems to have changed underwater night vision for herrera, it probably fixed some of the issues for deino too

I play online games for 25 years now and had to deal with cheater since day one. so, I don't mind them anymore. overall the isle hasn't that much of them either. there were times in day-z where I met an hacker every 3-4 hours. or even had 3-4 of them in my own (random) team in counter strike CS was very obvious, because you could watch your teammates after you died. jeez, I saw many weird stuff there

yeah, I really dislike that one. I really don't mind the grow time, as long as I can have fun. like with the other weight system you had fun pretty much from start on. now it feels like we have to survive by fish and bodies only for the first hours (or yeah, probably even one and a half)

Not sure if you've tried it yet but deleting the config file helped fix my underwater night vision issues. Before i deleted it my vision was completely dark like yours, hope this helps!

Japp wie immer genial mit diesen Smilies :D Das größte Problem als Deino ist, dass es keine (ausgenommen NE See) Zentralen Sammelpunkte wie Center oder UthaRock mehr gibt ... schwer andere Dinos zu fangen ... deswegen gibt es so viele Kannibalen (Ja, ich weiß, Part of Diet) aber so schlimm wie jetzt war es noch nie.

depends on the resolution you play. for 4k I would recommend at least a RTX 3070 or similar AMD card. for fullHD you should be fine with a 2070. at least one of my community members told me he has a pretty decent performance in fullHD with the 2070. on the long run I would recommend a 3070 tho. personally I have the 3080 and have stable 60 FPS. well, beside on the test servers. but, on the regular server I have 60 FPS in 4k for 99% of the time.

@@raddock86 I also read that dibble will get it's own horde test soon. they want to push this one as fast as possible to an update and start the next horde test with dibble kind of right after or so. right now they are very focused on the performance issues and some other bugs to push this update. but, such issues can be fixed within a few days (if your are lucky) or can take a week or two. specially if you can't find the trigger of the issue immediately

Disappointing ending, but good showcase. Honestly fuck hackers man, don’t get why if you suck that bad, you have to ruin it for everyone else. Good to see Deimos spawns are being replenished and hopefully they fix the performance drops. Overall, looking forward to this change and think it will help the game a lot. Good video Mombie 😊

in general the horde test looks promising. that said, the performance issues got worse since it started. the first two sessions were so smooth. then we had rubber banding. now we have these frame drops and as far as I read they have many troubles with the AI somehow. last week I thought the update will drop this week, because it was that smooth at the start. but, meanwhile I ain't that sure anymore

sry mate, there is no help. 6 hours and no success? that's normal. specially for a big one like deino. it took me more than 100 hours until I raised my first trike successfully, just to die in my first battle as adult soon after the best advice I can give you is like follow: don't pressure yourself with growth. of course your first goal should be to reach adult. but, even more important is the learning process. you have to get used to the map, the different calls, the best areas for food and the more safe ways in between first. this takes time. nobody entered the isle and mastered it from start on. so, enjoy exploring and getting familiar first and then you will become an adult someday soon anyway

I am kind of jealous at you tho. the first hours are so nice, as everything is new and exciting. yes, also frustrating if you die, yet very exciting. later on you will play more relaxed, which is also nice. still, you will never get that feeling back which you experience within the first 100 hours or so. therefore, enjoy it and don't pressure yourself too much. we all die in this game all the time

I played carno and it is the opposite. a 40% carno has about a ton now. so, more than half of it's weight at 40%. like deino was since the last update. I don't like that change

More player is defo a good plan just those FPS need reviving. But as much as I have issues with TI's current state I will give it to them that the horde test is seeing a good amount of attempted changes. Not all of them work but I'd prefer that than waiting months for patches that also don't work.

in my opinion they do a great job. it's just the pace which can be annoying at times. it takes them so long for everything. which is normal tho, as they are a tiny team. still, from a players point of view it often takes ages till they fix something or get back on track sometimes. I have no doubt about the future of the game at all. but, we have to be VERY patient. which is hard at times

I don't see any issues with diets? It's a growing system, which creates a lot of different in game scenarios with other players and yourself. The system works as is and It can only get better as things progress. While different mechanics are added into the game it will always make the game need rebalancing.

well, I had the same issues later on with only 100 players, too. so, I guess they have another problem somewhere. the AI is one, but, I also had these drops when AI was disabled. so, there must be something else. in general tho (other than horde test), I had a very decent performance since the last update

@@patrikresz2706 I totally get that it is frustrating. but, my GPU is 4years old!!! and yet it runs the game properly even in 4k incl. recording. so, to be fair, you can't expect much more from them. I recently saw a video where a youtuber complained about the FPS beside having a decent setup. then he said he has the RTX 2070 super. srsly? that's a 6 years old mid-range GPU. that's like complaining that a PS5 game doesn't run properly on a PS4.

the NV for deino on hordetest for me def doesnt look like that. Yours is substantially worse. I used to be able to see almost the whole lake. They recently changed in the patch a day or so ago to be much less. Also pro tip, use your lunge to catch up to elite fish. They practically have no HP now and can be killed at any stage. Also with the weight changes when swimming, your one hit to a FG 8 ton until 6+ tons. Can also grab fish schools and drop them till they go rotten. When you eat rotten fish you get dots. Also deinos no longer are faster at lower growth stages on land. You are fastest at 8 tons.

interesting but yeah, I often read that people have a very different experience with night vision well, sounds good at least thx for the tips, but, a juvie deino was never faster than an adult. on the short run an adult did always catch up, but it was out of stam pretty soon. it was always about the stam.

I was a Cerato two weeks ago and run into a Stego that was speedhacking, it run faster then a Carno. I couldn't run away from him and the tail hits were very fast so I died. The Anti Cheat system does not work. Cheaters are becoming a real problem. I stopped playing The Isle.

I don't know, there were always hackers and it doesn't feel like they got more recently. in fact, I met quite less of them compared to most other PVP games I played. but yeah, hackers are always annoying

Saw a raptor with kinda god Mode. Even as He stood still No bites connected... Was really wierd to die to those raptors.. thought its Bad Hit Registration First since we ran around as i bite it but nope.. it got stuck on a Rock for 1-2 secs and even then No hits.. then i tried the other raptors which been legit and got me at the end.. How you gonna win against Something that cant get hurt at all 🤷🏻‍♂️

Imagine hacking on any server or game. Did that deino think it did well? If I win a fight, it gives me happy hormones in my brain, lol. If I cheated, I wouldn't get that, so I don't understand. Deinos and Ceras, for some reason, get the speed hacks. I killed a speed-hacking Cera with my Cera. That's why they need them because they are horrible at the game. I don't know. to me it's a mystery that someone can get any satisfaction out of a game by cheating. the challenge is what games are about. you succeed the challenge (a level, an endboss, another player, whatever) and get this satisfying feeling in return. where do you get this feeling from if you cheat. no challenge = no victory = no good feeling imo ^^
