    My favorite part of being in Iraq was always the children. Most people are good people. Don’t let the bad seeds give you the wrong perspective about Iraq or any country really. Most folks want the same thing we want. The chance to raise our kids and live without fear of being bullied

I absolutely love your channel, it honestly gave me a lot of new perspectives on how the world is like and that the people in some of these “hostile nations” aren’t hostile at all- it’s just the leaders.     Digital nomads do a ton to help shape a realistic picture of life in other countries. With millions watching these vids every year, pretty soon nothing any govt says about another people will be taken seriously. Just look at all the vids from Palestine, which absolutely helps bring attention. After watching these kind of vids, I'm moving to Kusadasi Turkiye in a few months. Had I not watched these kind of vids, I'd never have been introduced to the beauty of that country 🇹🇷

    This is what i miss about travel, especially across all corners of the Asian continent from the Middle East to the far East. The people are golden. Absolutely golden. And nobody does hospitality like the Middle East. Agressive as hell - you fear for your safety if you refuse food or drink in the best way 😂. It's such a nice reminder of the goodness of people in the world when all we see in headlines are the negatives. Hooray humans!

    that's exactly what they did , it's the sha'ada it's bascially admiting "there is not god but allah" which in islam is considered to accept the religon as the true religon , therefore he's considered a muslim and he's not premetied to leave the religon, criticize it , or doing anything that oppose to it such as eating pork, drinking alchol , having sexual realationship before marraige , etc or in other world if he does than he could be sent to jail or executed in some places . (from what I know you should say it 5 times , and he only said it once )

    yes, it was the shahada, or profession of faith, meaning "I believe that there is no other god but Allah, and Mohammed is his prophet". When you say it with true intent and belief, you are a muslim. However here, as he didn't understand it, he technically didn't convert to islam, in the eye of muslims.

    American content or content in English is very popular in my country ,Especially gaming content and American series and movies , especially series and movies in which there is a lot of cursing and obscene talk.     according to islam if you say it than you are a muslim ( from what I know you need to say it 5 times , but in the video he only said it once) and they take it very seriously , so if you say you change your mind or want to leave islam it can result in a death sentence or an angry mob lynching you . so it's a very important to know this , he's lucky he can return to the us where this is extremly unlikely that those thing happen , but they can still happen if an extrimist is hearing about it . either way it's a form of forced conversion only it is done here by social pressure rather than violence but the distance between the two is a very fine line.

    You know it's haram to convert a non muslim unless it's 100000% their free will? Doing it in one interaction wouldn't be considered valid that's for sure (unless you were approached by someone asking to convert) so that dude was most definitely tripping.
