He has always been my best mentor. He's great personally and he has a great knowledge and experience in the Neurocardiology and Neuromodulation fields and I wish everyone interested in this field could work with him!

There were times when you profs think that the heart is not more than a pump. صدق الله بان القلوب هي كل شي و ليس العقول فقط ي

I'm a Muslim too and was wondering how islam said that the heart has some control of our behaviors , that part of the good ou bad inside us is from there, after searching everywhere I found out that science is just started to catch up what Islam said 1400 yrs ago .....

09:30 Of the heart's neurons, some are connected to the vagus and sympathetic, some direct the heart's motion, but in between there's a group that works like a computer. ( inaccurate: - it records every heartbeat the heart ever made - it steers all heart neurons that operate the heart beats.) 10:15 If you're recording multiple neurons in one animal, you find two groups: some are phase locked for the cardiac cycle and some are not (i.e. they're computing sth else).

That's why God mentioned the heart more than the brain in his holy book. And warns of those sickness that effects the heart not the brain.

I mean emotional sickness effecting evil and good deeds and actions and beliefs who would believe this not long time ago when you knew noting more than its just q pump has nothing to do with emotions.
